I spent the past hour or so trying to find angles for both sides, but the Dubs side really outweighs all the intangibles with the LA side.
First off - Dubs have not won this in 6 tries, while it could be reason to lay down on LA - looking deeper into it they Dubs have seemed to have slowly figured things out and have all the tools to beat LA this time around. While Curry may be a little banged up coming into this game, I see the backcourt of GSW really dictating the flow of this game.
For whatever reason LAL is 0-3 on mondays while GSW is 7-2. I usually do not put much consideration into how teams play on the days of the week, but something like this becomes noticeable over time. LA is playing on statistically their worst day while GSW is playing statistically on their best day. Just something to take into consideration.
What really pushes this play into the bet category for me is the way Mark Jackson has seemed to have been gameplanning for this one for awhile after the OT loss at home last time. This just feeds more into the motivation to beat LA. Overall, when this is factored in, you can definitely consider the Dubs to come out with strong defensive intensity and trying to keep LA in the half-court.
Throw in some solid refs who don't give out superstar treatment and toss whiners - then I'd say GSW turns into a SOLID 5 unit play.
Final:
GSW 5 to win 5 ML

I took it already for even money on the ML, however I may add a little more later as I feel the Lakers may get a little more action by tip (especially if Curry does not play) which can bring more favorable odds to Dubs bettors.
I'd say if you were siding with LAL - best to take it on before your odds get worse. Lakers may have a chance to win for sure, especially given their history with the Warriors. But if you are basing your play on the Lakers because Curry is out I would think twice (that could also be an indicator you haven't watched enough of either team to have any business playing this one). Jack has done quite nicely filling in for him when he needs to. David Lee is a walking double-double.
A lot of the Lakers problems are going to come defensively and just because they got schooled in the 2nd half by D.C. does not mean they got their sh*t together almost overnight. GSW has the talent to beat them off the dribble and score at will in the paint (as seen with their last match that went to OT). GSW has had time to fine tune their defense in the meantime and has gotten much better over the past few games. This will likely be the difference in the game is who has the better defense...

Agreed Jack has played well when needed to fill in, but he is no Curry. I do Also Like Lee, dont forget the play of Barnes, and it seems as though Boguts is getting healthier. Personally im taking The Lakers. i feel they have to much on the line and hard to see them lose 3 in a row. i see Kobe being Kobe and doing what he's always done putting everything on the line to get a win! going to be a great game.
