I usually don't bet on my favorite teams but this is a Lock for me. Knicks -2.5 and this why.
First off, this is our fourth and final time that we play the Pistons for season and we'll be going for the sweep. We've beaten the Pistons 6 straight times, 10 of the last 11 and 4 of the past 6 meetings in Detroit. The Pistons are 3-7 ATS the last 10 games and are coming off of a Breathtaking loss against SA 114-75. I also wanna add that we've beaten the Pistons this year by an average of 9pts. Knicks -2.5 let's get the money!!

Fishgrz I just wrote a post with your exact sentiments. I feel funky about it with Melo being iffy but here's my thinking:
NY needs every game they can get, with several teams down their neck in the standings. They don't have the luxury of looking ahead, specifically to OKC tomorrow. *Going 1-1 doesn't change whether it's a W @ OKC L @ DET or vice versa. 1-1 is 1-1 is 1-1.
That being said, with Melo likely to sit out, whether both games or just tonight, this game is the more likely W of the 2.
DET has gone into a tailspin since Drummond has been out, their avg ppg allowed has climbed from 96 to 102 roughly. They have nothing to play for at this point, except more ping pong balls.
NYK has won the first 3 going for the sweep, this can go one of two ways, either DET is psychologically beat knowing this team has the edge (ala OKC v PHO this season) or they want payback. Given the team's m.o. right now, I think it's the first one.
Greg Monroe sprained his ankle in shootaround and is a game-time decision. He would have some issues to begin with healthy v Chandler, but if he is dinged up or misses the game entirely, the Knicks should have a field day in the paint.

Exactly. And I also wanna add even without Melo, the Knicks should win. We were able to overcome a 22 pt deficit against the Cavs IN CLEVELAND without him. Personally I think we move the ball a lil bit better without him. Knicks gonna have fun in that paint tonite, even if Monroe play he's not 100%, and when play against Tyson you have to be 100%.

Vincent Goodwil on Twitter said Lawrence Frank won't be coaching tonight, that can only help NY's cause. Charlie V also game-time decision with bad hammy

And, sorry about the mass postings these thoughts are just filling in, but Amare will probably be unleashed tonight and asked to be the alpha scorer. He should have a field day, and lead to spacing on the floor and the threes should be looking good.

It makes enough sense, Knicks are the desperate team, Pistons have all but mailed it in, Monroe will either play gimpy ankle or sit out and he's their backbone. I'm jumping aboard
Streak Survivor @ 10 Play of the Day: NYK -3.5 to get to 11 Also wagering $55 as well.

Vincent Goodwill, Pistons beat writer, also on Twitter quoted saying the team looks like they've mailed it in. Strong words from a guy who follows the team daily.

I don't see it that way chillin, they have very little hope of beating OKC, but they can get a W here tonight. At least I hope so for my streak's sake.

Hopefully they unite against a team that has mailed it in. They had no business rallying against CAVS down 22 (or being down 22 either), so hopefully they wake up earlier.

Charlie V out, Detroit is going to be incredibly thin and will be running guys that have hardly seen the court this season. Not played on paper I'm aware, but everything is lining up perfectly for the Knicks (which is why they would theoretically blow it)
Hopefully not
