Said it last night, and I'll say it again...I don't see the Celtics losing ATS for a while. They are rested up and highly focused and moving up in the Eastern Conference standings. Saw how great of an all around player Avery Bradley can be last night..and he will once again be able to slow down the perimeter scoring. Last meeting out the Celtics won huge and kept the Pacers to 30% shooting...obviously I don't expect that to happen tonight, but even on the back to back the Celtics should keep this within double digits, and have a chance to win late.
Prediction: Pacers 90 Celtics 88

Boston Celtics +9 (2.2 to win 2)

As 3ball pointed out...we have to seriously look strong at the public perception and lean that way...public bets have been cleaning up lately...as have the favorites.

Despite the fact that the Blazers scoring has been high in the past couple weeks, I can't see them getting that many points tonight against one of the best defensive teams. Grizzlies are rolling right now, with their only loss in the last 10 games being against the Heat. They are only allowing 87.3 ppg in the last 10 games...pretty much the same number for the last 10 home games as well. Blazers starting a tough road trip, and the Spurs on the horizon as well...I see them staying in the low to mid 80's tonight. Prediction: Grizzlies 92 Blazers 84

Same here CM,when Rondo was declared out for the rest of the season because of torn ACL,Bradley & Lee provided a better pg & sg combo.
A lot of basketball fans & bettors think Celtics is Dead without RONDO,i dont think so,this team has a legitimate chance to win the ECF because they always give the Heat a tougher series.

Nets vs. Bobcats OVER 48 1st Quarter (1.1 to win 1)
Last 10 home games for the Bobcats (stretching back to Jan 15th) have seen an average of 50.2 points in the 1st quarter. Bobcats are generally behind losing 7 of 10 first quarters at home...but more importantly is they are giving up a bunch of points early and digging themselves a hole. Only times the first quarter went under 48 in those ten games was against the Kings (equally bad on offense) and against the Bulls (great on defense). In those games the Kings scored 25 and the Bulls scored 24. No reason to think the Nets won't get close to the 30 mark here...and they aren't phenomenal on the defensive end so the Bobbies should be able to be somewhat competent.
Prediction: Nets 29 Bobcats 23

As opposed to using that particular stat which could be misleading, they might be 6-2 last 8 Boston is coming in here on B2B nights. Odd as it is, on b2b they avg
around 100 pts scoring in last 6 or so in the 2nd night, and that is
taking away any OT points they had in 2 games. They can play Indy tough
and are only 1 1/2 gms out of 4th in the conf. Might be some value here
in the ml play for Bos tonight, and at that thought the +9 should be
juicy.

ThieNoii, that's still better than losing. CMJ I really like the Boston game, part of me even wants to venture and place a wager on BOS ML for +420 give or take, but I'll probably just stick to +9. I am wary of the 1Q total between BRK and CHA as sometimes the Nets offense decides not to show up for entire quarters at a time. Just a thought.

Yes, after 300+ games I have wagered I am "only" up a couple hundred bucks. That is a successful year for me...and hopefully it gets better. It's an investment, and if you make money on an investment, it's a success.

Also something to watch out for re Boston. This will be the 10th
straight time they'll have had to travel from one venue to another for a
game, and will have 3 more instances of that after this Indiana fixture
before they get their first instances of consecutive home games in over
a month (7th & 10th Feb. -> 13th & 16th Mar.).
