That's true, but those were it's own situations; BOS/NY was a heated divisional game, veterans WILL step up when key players are down, ESPECIALLY for divisional games. OKC/WAS was a letdown spot for OKC. This was a b2b, coming from Toronto, Canada to Washington. I expected OKC to still win, but in no way was I gonna lay 10 points of wood, with a matchup with Minnesota looming on Wednesday.
Trust me, it's easy to look in hindsight at those games, I understand. But it's not necessarily about trends or line movements. Sometimes, you've gotta look at it from a basketball players/coaches perspective, which DOESN'T include point spreads or totals but does focus on 6 regular-season months of game management to get into the playoffs.
