#1 Posted: 12/15/2012 7:04:19 PM I could be wrong and I'm still in frantic
search to confirm, but I am thinking Love is going to have to sit out
tonight. From what I've read the swelling and stiffness on the thumb of
the same hand that was broke may prevent him from suiting up. Even if he does play he's getting his points on the boards right now. He's something close to 7-35 last two games in FG attempts. Love is hampered and I don't
expect him to play tonight. But, wtf do I know!
Rubio is supposed to suit up tonight and his addition will lead to some
lag/learning time on the floor in game situations/speed. I suspect
he'll be a little rusty tonight. But again, wtf do I know.
Last night the difference in me cashing in on the Hornets was AK47 and
Luke Ridnour. Luke doesn't hit those wide open three's, then it's a
tight game. AND if they don't get BURNT by the SAME darn.ing back cut
along the baseline by AK47 then NOH wins.
Dallas WILL NOT get burnt 10 times by AK47 on a backdoor cut on the baseline. NOT HAPPENING.
Rubio's insertion and Love's suspected absence IMO leads me to play the Mavs tonight. But again, wtf do I know.
Mavs +5 Mavs ML

#2 Posted: 12/15/2012 7:12:05 PM a very well thought out hunch, my good man. From having watched the raps/mavs game last night, I can guarantee you that the Mavs are well rested because they coasted through that game with minimal effort and desire to win.

#3 Posted: 12/15/2012 7:12:10 PM Mavs were one of my leans. I see plenty of Minny love. Gut Check for Dallas. I think you are onto something. G/L |

#6 Posted: 12/15/2012 7:17:39 PM Well ddjf, I thought I was onto something last night. Really Minnesota was just clicking on all cylinders. Oh and did I mention the AK47 backdoor cut on the baseline.
popeyoss- Love WANTS to play, but he knows he kinda can't!
Thanks for the response fellas

#7 Posted: 12/15/2012 7:18:48 PM Wolves play just as good if not better with Love in the lineup. Crowd is going to be jacked up with the return of Rubio.
As for Rubio being rusty, he is not expected to score. Being a point guard in my life one thing I have never lost is the ability to handle the ball and pass no matter how long it has been since I have touched a basketball. I dont really think there will be much of a rust factor...but thats just IMO.
I am on the other side...BOL Revo23! |

#10 Posted: 12/15/2012 7:25:32 PM MattK You really touched on my concern here. That is that MIN still has capable players to win this game.
JJ Barea D. Williams D. Cunningham Shved AK Pek
Pretty deep team, no doubt. Definitely looks like a playoff squad up there in MIN. Especially with Mr. Adelman.... quality coach... hall of fame coach IMO.
I could continue on and on with this either way I'm stuck on Dallas tonight. Cause like I said, wtf do I know!

#12 Posted: 12/15/2012 7:31:04 PM One thing I do notice is when akey player is out for matter of time, yes, the handle and physical part is there but the mental part is not. Possibly 3 games to get into flow and timing with teammates. G/L |

And a sandwich game. On the road vs. some elite teams out of the east. Rubio puts fans in the stands tonight at the Target Center, but let a W slip away. Or at least that's what I am hoping.

#15 Posted: 12/16/2012 8:13:07 PM Yea. Well. Hell. Whats a guy going to do? Once old man Vince and old man Fischer fouled out, I could kind of see it coming. Twolves burnt me Friday in Nawlins and again last night.

Short story, short... I'm on Nawlins tonight. And even though I kinda feel like "I was on the right side" the last two nights. I realize I wasn't.
