I love Wiz too but just don't have balls to take them right now.

I liked them a couple of days ago and they lost ATS in OT.  Thank God I wasn't on them.

I strongly think tonight's the night they win SU.

I like the Wizards tonight as well. Big time let down spot for the Spurs tonight, and I wouldn't doubt if Pop were to rest players and employ a more conservative game plan.

fresh i know your going to be curious as to why i like the knicks.when i first saw that knicks opening line i knew it was going to drop..i think the opening line was to bait sharp action on the nets..nets are almost unbeatable on their home court..knicks have stumbled a bit as of late.no reason IMO for them to open at -2.5..i think the line opened too high to bait nets action..and the line did exactly what i thoguht so im rolling with it..

Me too - my original lean my Utah but after seeing the ref assignments this morning I think I'll lay off.  The refs may send Denver to the line a lot since they are more likely to attack the paint and score in there harder.  However - it really comes down to if Denver can make a higher % of FT's than what they have been.  If Denver goes to the line and makes 15/30 FTs... well that can make or break the game right there. 

I wouldn't want to bet the under either with those guys officiating.  Don't get me wrong, they are pretty good refs - but they do not allow for very physical play and little contact usually = foul

Wiz had their chance to win first game against Cats the other day but they couldn't....Nothing will change tonight....Spurs 1H -4 for me

whats going on bro? now that i work in the city i dont have much time to shoot the garbage like i used to..i get 30 mins to cap before games start..but i havent seen any of your threads when i do look...love your insight on refs..thats one area i am baffled at..great to see you around

Can understand why everyone liking the Wizards to cover. Prefer the spurs with the HT line. Pistons will be ready to take it all the way.

I do not have much time to hang around on the forums.  Maybe once a week I can check what's going on.  But honestly, I only visit the NBA forum to get a few select opinions from people who I highly value. 

I will try to spread my knowledge on refs around as much as I can... as I believe they are just as important as the players to the game.  I always advise people to start paying more attention to the officiating crew.  If the crew made a serious mistake last time out (say the screw up in Toronto/Charlotte a few days ago), they will likely try to compensate that team next time out.  Officiating is just such a major part of the game it cannot be ignored - especially when games can have FT shots that can go from near zero to a hundred combined between the two.

If you do not have a lot of time (which I lack sometimes) - check out the media notes for the team you are interested in.  It is usually a 10-20 page PDF that will give you a lot of important run down info on the match-up.  Before they are editing for the announcers they are originally 100+ pages each night!

And if you have some seriously limited time - just check out the Ten Before Tip blog on the NBA website - it will give you last minute roster scratches, lineups and changes - as well as some random facts from time to time.
