Nailed last year's western conference match-up with the Spurs vs OKC after the 2nd week of the regular season and picked up over 27 units in the process.

This year we have a western conference with Spurs, Thunder, Lakers, and Clippers as the only contenders. Most people don't see it yet, but the Thunder will take a huge step back come playoff time without Harden. Spurs have a shot as do the Clippers but noone is beating this Laker roster come playoff time. No better time than to take a futures bet on the Lakers than now while they still aren't clicking.

Heat only have the Celtics to contend with them in the East but with Miami getting Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis I don't see anyone beating them in a 7 game series in the East.

Lakers aren't that good now, and there receiving a ton of criticism for there early troubles, but they will win the West this year. Guaranteed.

Lakers vs Heat NBA Finals Matchup  +372     10 units

YTD: +15.21 Units   (11.13)

Reminds me of the past two years when everyone said Miami had no bench and the worst coach in the league

Lakers will make D'Antoni look like a capable coach. They'll win the west this year with or without him. You ready to put your money on Vinny Del Negro then? Spurs can't matchup with this roster come playoff time.

Wow  how can u underestimate clippers this year? they prollly second deepest team in nba right now after Spurs/Heat. I bet they will finish with better record than Lakers, cmon man Blake, MWP, old farts Kobe and Nash and u put them on pedestal?

Barring any injuries this looks good. However, I will take a stab at Grizz vs heat too.

You think his offense will suit Kobe? Howard?  Lakers bench is junk also, they cant score.  BOL I hate Lakers but that would be a sweet hit.  You not think Memphis if Randolph stays healthy has an outside chance?

Like I said in my initial post, they are a threat. However, noone in the west will come close to beating this Lakers roster come playoff time. Enough said.

Memphis has a shot, but the Clippers beat them with a lesser talented team last year and with 0 playoff experience.

The lakers are not a lock by any stretch to be in the finals with that bench. But i guess they are favored for a reason.  Still not even getting 4-1 seems like crappy odds to have to pick two teams exact.  One key injury on either team could ruin that bet.  Between the two teams there are about 7 or 8 guys you gotta worry about not getting hurt to cash that.  GL though.
