The Nets are a very talented team this year but this is a spot play going against them tonight..

They've only faced one quality opponent and lost by 30 (Heat). They play the Celtics on Thursday and will surely be looking ahead to that game to showcase they can compete with the top teams in the league. Cavs are playing much better ball this year. This one should stay close throughout.

Cavaliers +6      3 units
Spurs -1             1 unit

YTD: +15.21 Units

Love the Knicks this year, they are way better than the Magic but it's way too early in the season for them to be laying 7 on the road. They'll be better spots to back them soon

Why you like the spurs bruh? Not the most appealing numbers on the road.

LC-Something seems fishy about that Spurs line. LA has no Nash, Blake, & a part time coach yet the line is only -1. Seems like SAS should be -3 or something.

Laroja - New coaching change for the Lakers, unfocused and off two blowout wins. Spurs the more motivated team here and the PG matchup with no Nash is no match.

Sidekickz24 - Lakers will be overvalued all year just like the Heat was past 2 years. No way Lakers would be +3 at home no chance

Already on the Spurs. Spurs got key advantages in bench depth, actually play defense and pg with Nash hurt. Would like it more if Manu wasn't a gtd.

I like both plays.  I also think Washington gets their first W tonight.  Good luck!

Gotta say LeagueCapper, I follow you and think you do a great job, but I think you're off here tonight.  Nets have blown two 20-pt leads, including last game vs Magic (which they held onto win by 8).  No looking ahead here.  Plus, Cleveland has zero bench and gets 40% of its offensive production from Kyrie and Waiters.  Matched up against two of the best defensive guards in the league in Deron and JJ.  Unless Varejo or Boobie puts up 20-25, I don't see Cavs staying in this game.  Plus, Cleveland has a bottom 5 defense, which is just what the Dr ordered for the Nets.  We'll see what happens, but just wanted to go on the record here saying that I like the Nets solid.

Money2BMade - Welcome back buddy. Hope you had fun

vdstrading - I don't disagree with you there. Nets have a huge edge in matchup over the Cavs but like I said, this is a spot play fading them here.

davopnz - I'd lean over on the Knicks game but the line is a bit too high. Knicks have been playing good D this year. No lean on the Pacer game.

Let's not forget the best coach in NBA, Popovich, with two days to get them ready for the Lakers. If there's a time to beat the Lakers this is a pretty good one. I don't think Popovich will let a possible win slip away.Lakers have beaten Golden State and Sac since the fired of Coach Brown. I'll take my chance with 6-1, 2 days rest, Coach Popovich Spurs
