GB / BRAZIL UNDER 157.5
It's fair to say the GB is probably the weakest shooting team from the twelve nations in this tournament. Both these teams went a combined 8 of 48 from the three point line in their opening games. To get to 158 there has to be four consistent 40 point quarters and I just cant see this happening. I expect at least one maybe two 30-33 point quarters in this game. With Brazil being a 12 point favorite it's unlikely that cheap fouls will come into play late in the fourth. I'm thinking along the lines of a 78-68 Final.
ARGENTINA - 5
This looks like a safe bet to me. Argentina is an experienced international basketball team that can run the floor , pass the ball well and they do a great job getting the ball to the open shooter. Only 7 turnovers against Lithuania in their opener and this is what you need to beat France who are a solid defensive unit. This is only props I will give to France . Their Defense. They seriously lack a three point threat. Of course it's easy to say after the fact!! Yes they were only 2 of 22 from downtown against the Americans but the fact of the matter is that hardly any of the treys France attempted were challenged by the Americans.
