Your text seems awfully emotion filled to have not 'bet' on anything.  I could turn the events right back on you though.  I didn't bet either btw.  But someone's, as you put it, "CAPPING" showed them a result that thru 36 minutes they dominated the Spurs, who looked completely overmatched with length and speed, trailing by 9.  It was their CAPPING that missed a poor 12 minutes of closing basketball but was bailed out by very lucky shooting.  Did the Thunder deserve to cover according to the 4th quarter?  Probably not, but after watching the game start to finish the Thunder was the right play...

Hmmm...actually OK City covered for about 90% of the game

Unreal how people miss this fact over and over.  The Thunder were 'sooooooo lucky' with the 3s at the end, yet there was no luck involved in the Spurs nearly doubling the thunder up in the 4th

Exactly, not sure where the OP is going with this. I was on Spurs as well but for most of the game that bet dint look good. The ending obviously sucked but if you've been betting long enough you know you don't even start counting that money before the game's over. Plus if you get overly emotional after one loss then you're not managing your bankroll right

Spurs were down 9 going into the 4th qtr in the WCF giving 5.5 or 6...

Im guessing that bet loses 99% of the time

I have to admit, being on the Thunder and the Under, I think the Spurs were the play.
When it got to be "winning time" they embarassed the young guns.
Killed em.
Forget the first three quarters, Spurs were the play today.
Thunder need to play better when the game counts.

Agree to disagree I guess.  12 minutes of basketball left, giving 5-6 points, and already trailing by 9.  I'm backing the team who don't need to outscore the team by 14-15 in 12 minutes of basketball.  Obviously the 4th quarter matters more though

Sorry, the Bingo bango was for your statement, I agree with you.  If it comes down to backing a team who needs to outscore the other by 16 in a quarter, I'd usually like my odds.  Nto a sucker on this board who would turn down that bet, sight unseen

I believe for 2 quarters the OKC Thunder were better...They lost the 1st q by 6 and 4th quarter by 12...so in 2nd and 3rd they were better...

exactly!  what the darn are people thinking acting like they were "unlucky" to lose with the Spurs... sometimes (most of the time) this site is a have for insanity...

if you had the Spurs, you had no business being in a position to cover at all... you were on a wing and a prayer to begin with...

where do you get off saying "for 47 minutes the Spurs were covering"... what 47 minutes were you watching?

quit your damn bitching... and no, the Spurs were not the right side... if anything, this was a "no play" situation, where whoever won was lucky to win, and whoever lost was foolish for betting...

but to suggest Spurs backers got robbed is ridiculous!  unreal how people's minds work around here...

i would say 3 meaningless 3's in the last 17 seconds, all of which required to get moosed, is about as close to getting robbed as you can come...

unless you've got a better example of getting robbed.  i suppose you never get robbed

it is what it is i'll come back from this but i ain't gettin any younger

nooooo... for 3 quarters, OKC was 9 points better... while being a 5.5 pt underdog...

Ask yourself how many times a team -5.5 or -6 covers a game down 9 after 3 in the Conf Finals??

You win that bet 1 out of 100 times, if that

what makes them meaningless?  because they didn't result in a win for OKC?  teams play until the buzzer...

but if you ask me... having a 14.5 point lead against the spread, going into the 4th, and potentially losing by .5 point, would have been a much bigger "robbery" than what Spurs backers suffered...

i realize the loss sucks, the way it happened... but the point is, people on this site always want to look at the last 5 seconds to measure the moose job, but it just doesn't work that way...

if you are covering the spread for less than 90% of the game, and you have the favorite... you can't really complain about losing... especially when you were only going to win by half a point if you won at all...

sorry... i just see all of this "moose" talk as nonsense...

GL with the next one...

yeah you're right man.  this sh!t rarely happens to me in football

i'm not getting any younger i need to start cashing this sh!t and moving on

when the spurs were down 9 i figured little to no chance.  but i still wanted that cover.

yeah gl w the next one, it's going to be for much less $ as i blew most of my nba bankroll on the last 2 mooses and it's going to be using a different strategy.  live and learn this nba sh!t been making $ during the regular season playoffs another story.

2 months until the nfl presason

Well, was a perfect ending to "one of those days" for me. Started with me going to cash my big winning ticket from Celtics and realizing the friggin clerk had punched in the Sixers. Always check my ticket(s) before leaving the sportsbooks but for some reason last night I didn't. Then today had MLB Minn+ and Milw+ and Bos, every friggin one of them late game bullpen losses. So wasn't surprised at all to see Okla go 3-3 in 3 pointers in the last 17 secs to screw my Spurs bet. Gonna pretend this day never happened..................................

only attitude you can have if you're gonna survive this business... i've had my fair share of mooses...

i think the bigger picture in this one is that OKC just pissed away this series, because the chances of them winning it after blowing that game are extremely small... and i had them at very good odds to win it in 5 or 6 games... so i'm not very happy, either...

gotta keep a level head and get it back somewhere else...
