Ok, I have watched this game 4 times now and have picked apart a few things.
First going into game 6 tonight I will agree with what Larry Bird's comments were on his team being "SOFT" and that they got bullied around. Just absolutley no response from them since the flagrant fouls of Haslem. They got the suspensions in and the loss of Haslem is going to hurt the Heat bad......He single handidly took control of the 4th qtr in game 4 in Indiana to give them the win and def will get some attention from his performance in the 4th qtr of game 5 to get the Heat the win. I also agree that since game 4 Lebron and Wade have turned it on, and I feel they got into the Pacers heads a little bit. I think the Pacers thought they were gonna have it easy on them the first 3 games where it seemed they were able to bully the Heat without Bosh. While all that may seem true I feel the Pacers got a little carried away with fucking with the Heat with choke jestures and comparing themselves to the Mavs. You just dont need to give anymore motivation to the Heat.
That all said we still have an elimination game on deck here and close out games are very tough. It's hard to cap the Pacers at this point because they seemed completely dejected against the Heat last game, as if they have already aquiaced defeat and have laid down. The loss of Haslem will be the key factor here, where the only points must come from Lebron and Wade who are both in a zone right now.
The Pacers have the 5th best record in the NBA this season and despite that being remarkable were not at all the center of attention for the league this year. A fact I know pisses them off. My topic of disussion that I would like us all to debate on is the Mind set of the Pacers. If they come out with fire and maintain it, I feel we see a fired up West Hibbert and Hansbourgh tonight. But if not, the Heat are moving on and covering this game. It all rests on the Pacers.
I am about 70/30 that the do come out on fire and get this to game 7. But watching game 6 over and over I just cant get over how dejected they looked, no heart, no fire. Something I have not seen in this team all year. Larry Bird also agrees that he was surprised to see his team this way. But at this point I want to assume that the real Pacers team will show up tonight and give the Heat all they can handle. This is seriously a tough game to cap.
It all rests on the mind-set of the Pacers as a team, can they pick up the peices??
What do you guy think??

My opinion is the following, without UD and Pitttman, they only truly have 3 bigs left. Indiana should clobber Miami in the paint. Anthony really hasn't been effective this series. The issue i would have that no one is really talking about is the health of Granger. I see that he is day per day, but if he isn't healthy how can you trust Indiana? And what about West? he is playing yeah, but will he be hurt? Honestly if healthy, Indiana should cover. Use your monster Hibbert....who can stop him now? Just my 2 cents.

I am betting as large as I ever do on Miami -3. What I am betting on is Lebron and Wade will play loose while Indiana will be playing tight. Granger might play but his ankle will make him a non factor, making that a far larger loss for Indiana than having two hacks like Haslem and Pittman out for the Heat. This is an up and coming Indiana team but as Larry Bird said there is no replacement for experience when it comes to the playoffs. Now that said Indiana could take this game and push it to game seven, but I have a feeling play off experience and the rediculous talent level of the Heats' two stars will pay off tonight.

Home crowd should motivate Pacers and plus it is elimination game. Injuries hard to factor in, but we do know Haslem is out. If Heat can not control Pacers bigs, no matter how well Wade and James do, they have a chance. Points will need to come from other sources like theBrazilian Blur! Heat for the series but I think Pacers get this, no close out tonight. Maybe Sunday they do it. If West and Granger are better then, who knows. I know NBA does not want Indy/SA finals. Boston/Miami for the east would be great TV! Heat bench sucks! They lost to the Wizards with bench playing most minutes.

Granger shouldn't have much problems on defense if IND plays a zone. Offensely he's struggled all series so idk. Like the UNDER

...Haslem gives Heat +49 in +/- when playing...without him -1
But, Heat get it done tonight
