Am I the only one that feels like when Crawford refs a game it's a little sketchy?

Does anyone seem to think so? I feel like when he's on the court that the public favorite seems to go down, or have I just seen just a small sample size?

The refs favored the 6ers tonite...wasn't blatant but the NBA for whatever reason wants Game 7 Saturday

the whole league is shady...they are all shady..shit one of em went to jail. he obviously was just the one who got caught. expect it to be fixed and hope you are on the right side of the fix. most of the time the fix is for the home team.  if you approach it that way you ll never lose sleep over it

crawford's nephew is a big fan of allen iverson (former 76er), and if you saw the greeting iverson and crawford are pretty cool...

He was calling bullshit touch fouls! It sets up the next time down the court where Philly repeatedly drives to hoop and scores! This NBA is a fucking joke! I'm OFFICIALLY done! These fucks costing me a lot of money!

Joey Crawford is the crookedist ref in the NBA. He has a lot of competition but he's got the top spot. He's from Philadelphia and has long time ties to organized crime figures in Philaelphia and all along the east coast. Except for David Stern, he's the most powerful guy in the NBA. He's been fixing NBA games he officiates for years but his connections among his fellow corrupt referees runs very deep and he has a hand in other fixed games even if he's three thousand miles away.

He had to keep calling fouls against the Celtics tonight because the 76er's are so pathetic from the free throw line that the Celtics were able to hang around.

I saw all the pounds and hugs myself. But you know who's reffing b4 the game if you look. All the refs favored the over and i played the under due somewhat to the fact he was reffing. He's one of those refs i think doesn't like boston.

The people that agreed with you convinced you to never bet on the nba again..... Maybe you were right with your small sample size question about the ref and it turns out the Celtics couldn't throw the ball in the ocean tonight..... will you gamble again then?    Or are all these fixed threads figments of imagination

sorry but i cant let a joey crawford thread go by without mentioning what he did to tim duncan in 2007. He basically got suspended through the NBA playoffs for literally picking a fight with duncan, among other things.


the real question is why such a character still has a job in the NBA, & worse, have so much tenure given his character. It helps fuel the conspiracy to manage game outcomes.

I actually read some of Donaghy's book, I doubt he was making it up as he goes, very calculated NBA Ref, they blow calls everyone can see clearly right?  They know exactly what they are doing, managing a game period, NBA Ref has more influence than any referee in any sport.  It is comical reading these posts suggesting the difference is making and missing shots.  Wow.
