It has been impossible to ignore that these are very good basketball teams. With the emotional pendulum swinging back and forth, it is very possible the Pacers respond well tonight. We could see the Heat possibly relaxing just enough to let the Pacers take advantage.
The odds makers know the public well. They know the public saw the highly publicized performance of the Heat in Game 5. The public wants to jump on the bandwagon. We take the opposite approach to this.
The line set at Pacers +6.5 is disrespect to the trends and the ability of the Pacers basketball team. This looks to be a good opportunity to take advantage of the public's limited knowledge of the underlying emotions and statistics.
