If you bet 1st Q on the home rested team against the road b2b team you'll be so far ahead by the end of the season, on that alone.
Love those $pots
also works great against the home team when they played the night before in a hard fought game (especially if its a marqee matchup or on national tv), and FOR the visiting "rested" team.. See orlando blowing out the blazers in the 1st last night
place a $100 bet in every instance when that happens for the 1st Q every night, and by the end of the season you'll make thousands of $$ on those spots alone
Teams that on a b2b that will be playing a rested team tomorrow:
The rested teams that will be playing b2b teams are
Lakers
Dallas
Nets
^ bet on those 3 teams in the 1st quarter for tomorrow's games against those tired teams. and do it all year long and write down the teams the night before.
I wins 80% of the time.. ESPECIALLY in this "CONDENSED" Season !! Remember that teams are pacing themselves, and t is human nature for a rested team to start a game well and a tired team on a back-to-back (with the travel sometimes) to come out flat.
ALL you have to do is see the evidence with Orlando the past 2 nights. Tonight after a b2b playing last night, Golden state was totally kicking their ass in the 1st quarter. However, Orlando was rested for 2 days before playing Portland last night.. meanwhile Portland played 2 nights ago against the clippers in a hard fought game that was on national TV ...
so of course the rested team (Orlando) totally destroyed the b2b team that just played a hard fought game the night before (Clippers) in that 1st quarter last night. Orlando was up by 15 in the 1st quarter.
Just do that shit all year long, and THIS is the BEST season to do that with the condensed schedule. EASY MONEY !!

those 2 games are a small sample size. whats the record for the rest of the season so far? im sure there were a good bit of rested teams vs. teams on a b2b so far.

I agree. I have been doing the same strategy this season and have been profitable but its never easy money. The juice has been high on quarter bets bc this is the only way for books to adjust to this kind of action.

give or take a percentage point. Right around there.
Nothing is 100%, not ever when it comes to betting. The other night boston shit the bed in the 1st Q against Dallas coming off a b2b. However for very one of those I win 2 or 3
As the season goes on, I expect this trend to be even better, as teams feel the grind even more (remember we are still relatively early in the season).

It is really hard for me to bet on NJ for the first quarter...
Understood. I don't bet the same amount for every game.
A smart capper always considers other factors in any bet they place. Hence, Phx played poorly at home last night, they will probably come out stronger tonight.
The cavs meanwhile exuded a lot of energy last night, and I have more on the Lakers at home.
On the other game, the Bucks notoriously play the Mavs well. Moreover, the Bucks are 4th best in the league for 1st half point differential (and they are the 4th worst forn 2nd H point differential). And Dallas is notorious for being a better 2nd half team than a 1st half team.
Last night, Charlotte didn't cover the 1st Q against a b2b ATL team. But I didn't bet that one. Who the fukk can trust the Bobcats on the road ?! Unless they're playing the pathetic knicks at madison square garden ;-)
So you have to take everything into account ( i should have stated that in the post the OP quoted and decided to start a thread on)

It's not a b2b for either team, but I like Miami tonight for a 1st Q or 1H play.
2nd half is an entirely different matter however and have to see the developments at halftime. Miami looking really good to end this road trip on a high note. After tonight's contest they have 3 days off before entertaining a 5-game home stand. So there's no look ahead game for the heat, they are concentrating on this one.
Lawson is questionable and he's a very big component for that team, their offense really feeds off his penetrations. Miller is not the same. Moreover, the Nuggets did not cover in their previous 2 home games, once against the Nets and the other was getting blown out against the Hornets of all teams.
Look for miami to come out hard tonight.

I think the Heat may start out really good in this one. They don't have a game for the next 3 days so my guess is they're concentrating solely on this game tonight with no look ahead game and in dire need of ending this roadtrip on a high note.
moreover, in their player interviews they are talking about starting off really well tonight. When I hear them say that, with this very same demeanor they are showing for this game in starting off well, I would say they cover the 1st Q or 1H spread about 90% of the time since the start of last season (they said the same vibes in the 2nd charlotte and boston games this year and blew both of them out in the 1st half, up comfortably by double digits)
When they are dead set on concentrating to win a game, far more often than not they start the 1st Q or 1st H with a nice lead. The 2nd half is an entirely different matter however. coin flip there with this team. lol

Hey guys. I like your logic on this. I know Dallas and Lakers covered 1stQ. Didn't catch the line on the NJ 1st Q. Keep this thread going guys and good look with your bets

Jazz. Utah had 2 days off before this one. Fresh. Nets win last night and travel late. At home in Deron's return. This is a big story in Salt Lake City. I think they gonna be pumped early
