Raptors -3, 1 unit play. Minnesota put together a few ugly performances as soon as they became overvalued. Shortly thereafter, they refocused and got their first road win yesterday. Unfortunately, they beat the worst team the league has seen in the last 5 years, a team that in no way prepares them for any other team in the NBA. Toronto was also overvalued recently, losing at home as a 3 possession favorite then going on the road and just looking awful against Philly. I like what I've seen from Casey so far, as the players are responding very well. Minnesota has to travel to play a b2b road game, with a home game against the Bulls coming up tomorrow night, so this presents a good opportunity for them to be a little lackadasical (sp?). Toronto, on the other hand, is coming off consecutive flat efforts, and is also beginning a b2b2b tonight, so you know the focus will be there to start it off with a win against a very beatable team. In addition, this isn't the basis of my play, but it doesn't hurt that the veteran Calderon does not want to get shown up by rookie Rubio with a lot of Spain paying attention.
Hornets +13. Nothing too extensive here, just don't see this bunch losing back to back games against the spread as a dd dog. Denver is starting to get overvalued too.
Looking at a few other plays, will add throughout the day. Will be on the under in Chicago, hoping for a little more of a climb.
