Lets trade away the 6th man of the year to the defending champs for nothing in return. If anything trade him to the east. Someone would have taken his 2 year 18 million a year contract.

As a Chris Paul and more so a Hornets fan, I am disgusted. Paul would of landed in a great spot, The Hornets would of gotten an amazing deal. If they received a bag of chips for Paul it&#x27;d be a win, what they were getting was a steal for a non-returning player. Now, nothing. wow.

the lakers flipping lamar to the mavs for the TPE doesn't surprised me especially after the hissy fit he threw, if anything it probably maded it easier for the lakers GM to pull the trigger.

This was when the Paul trade initially seemed like it went through. Man you can feel the raw emotion. He loved LA and was genuinely hurt by the trade.

I sincerely hope he gets traded to a squad like the Mavs. He deserves better than the Hornets. He should still get a chance to play for a contender.

Media knows there are a lot of Laker and Kobe fans and ran that story constantly to hype up the NBA and the Lakers.&#xD;&#xA;As for getting D12, I realize the Magic wants to get something back in return....but once Gasol and Bynum are moved - I do not feel that anyone else will ever want them again - at least not for valueable pieces...&#xD;&#xA;Gasol = Gasoft and will show that even more once he is away from Lakers&#xD;&#xA;Bynum = one more injury away from being untouchable.&#xD;&#xA;So shipping Howard to Lakers for these two guys will give the Magic &#x27;damaged or fragile&#x27; assets that will have diminishing returns for the Magic in the future.&#xD;&#xA;That being said, in my opinion, there has to be a better deal out there for the Magic.......I think the Nets (Lopez) is more solid,,,,,he is on the up rise....has size.....young....Howard wants to be there.....Nets need to get the right package together and get superman to play with D Will.......WOW

Lakers will offer Bynum, Gasol, and at least one #1 pick

Nets are offering Brook Lopez, and 2 First Rounders

Clippers can offer Gordon, Aminu, and at least a First Rounder

So...the offer from the Lakers will send the least back in talent, but Howard of course wants to go there more than anything.

That only shows why LA didn&#x27;t have a problem in trading him. Mentally he is too unstable, and let&#x27;s face it, he is a very good player, but how many straight good games did he make? He is very useful coming off the bench, but let&#x27;s see his numbers this year in Dallas. Of course i&#x27;d preferred a more profitable trade, but i worry more about losing Gasol.
