You may have a point BUT I can't see Dallas getting sweep at home......Still feel they can take Game 4. They're going to have to give it an extra push to make it happen thou. lol

Good Point.....and I want Miami just can't see them getting sweep @ home.

Anything is possible.....BUT Dallas is always in the game, they won the last three quarters of game 3. The series is still open, nothing is locked in for Miami yet. All I'm saying is Game 4 is going to say a lot more about how this series is going to end up. GL

Take out my mavsfandom for a moment and here's what you've got in this series:
Game 1 tight throughout and Heat pull away at the end of the game as they should on their home court.
Game 2 is 75-73 when the Heat go on a run and make it 88-73. Mavs then go on their own run and close it out which fits given their road record in the playoffs (2 wins in LA, 2 wins in OKC, and 1 win in Portland).
Game 3 is tied with a minute to go and the Mavs lose by 2 points.
All of this and the Mavs have very clearly not been playing great ball with all of the turnovers. Ackonledging that, if they are only down 2-1 and have been close in the 4th qtr of every game, what happens now with their backs against the wall in what is essentially a must win game? I think it's much more likely that they turn it around and take game 4 then it is that the Heat all of a sudden become much better than the Mavs and can't lose. Just my $.02
Good luck with whatever you play.

there is a reason the mavs arent playing great ball that everyone seems to just be dismissing
and the mavs were down large multiple times in game 3 at home and had to battle back which dirk acknowledged takes a lot of you u and cant keep happening. it wasnt as if game 3 was back and forth the whole game and tight. i give dallas credit they never quit and always seem to battle back but backs against the wall is overated imo. the worst thing for dallas imo is winning the way did because from here on out miami s peddle will not come off the gas for a second. i mean dallas was at home after a total collapse by miami...that situation doesnt get any better...

The mere fact that the Mavs were able to come back yet again in Game 3 says that the foot off the pedal mentality isn't in play for the Heat. And if it is their approach then it isn't very effective. That said, I agree that the comeback approach isn't a great one for the Mavs (or a Mavsfan for that matter), but it's how they play so you accept that. I expect max effort from the Mavs tomorrow night and that they'll be a little less sloppy with their ball handling. They win tomorrow and game 5 will be the swing game in this series. Again just my opinion, but it's what I think willl happen based on what's been on display so far. Good luck to you whatever you do.

C'mon badlands I've always enjoyed your posts on here but that's just burying your head in the sand. They came back and tied it with over a minute to go. That's a comeback. The Heat got lucky with the Dirk miss at the end. It's that simple. No need to make it anymore complicated than that.

ok bud, you re being a homer
trust me i could care less about either of these teams. and if i had my choice id want dallas to win all day. the reality is they should be down 3-0 but miami started celebrating game 2 with 6 min left. lets not make this more complicated than it is. dallas is a one trick pony against this d. and the refs kept dallas in that the last 2 min, any objective viewer will tell you that but unfortunately there are few of them here since everyone hates the heat and lebron.

I hear ya. Celts would've done better against the Heat if Rondo didn't get hurt. And of course if the Perkins trade never happened.

Chemistry is key and is actually why I don't think much of the Heat. But we'll see how it goes.
Thank for the well wishes and some fun banter on a Monday night. ![]()
