I haven't bet in a while but I decided to put some money on Memphis -1.5
(-105) tonight. Anyone with me? I think the Grizzlies will come out
fired up after the way OKC taunted and humiliated them at the end of
Game 5. Memphis is one of the best (if not the best) 8 seeds in NBA
history and they are a young team with a lot of confidence that is
playing like it has nothing to lose.
With the disastrous flooding that happened in Memphis, the city has needed something to rally behind and they've all come together to support the Grizzlies. The Grizz have played outstanding at home all season (30-11) and in the playoffs (4-1 with the 1 loss being the 3OT game 4 loss). Meanwhile on the road OKC is just 25-16 during the regular season and 2-2 in the playoffs. OKC definitely has the best player on the floor and the better team overall but Memphis will come out and play inspired and force a game 7.
