He buys points like they're free, but the fact is he gives his lucky bookmaker the best of it BY FAR every single day. He gets buried every year under a raging waterfall of unnecessary and ill-advised juice.
Seriously! If a bettor is so confident, he should be asking his bookie if he can sell a point, not buy a point. For example, betting the Nets on the overnight line at +4.5 +110 instead of an awful +6.5 -130.
Funny thing is, though, that no bookie in all the land is interested in buying points from their customers. Hmm, what does that tell everyone???

With all due respect MrBator this weekend was a classic example of where buying a half of point would have gave me two huge hits and wins instead of two pushes along with some sickening losses.
Bills+3 if I had bought it to 3.5 that 2 pt conversion by the bears wouldnt have mattered.
Bengals +6 of course Nuguent misses 2 fg's and reed is good from 53 but besides that if I bought it to 6.5 i would have won.
