Both tall and slender. Athletic. Great pure shooters. Automatic at the line. Franchise players. Good guys you root for to win.

But neither will win a championship. EVER.

Just something you can tell by the eye test. Just don't have that "it" thing to win a ring.

LeBron is 4 yrs older and avg 30-8-8 while winning his 2nd straight mvp award. Durant has a long way to go just to tie what LeBron has done. Doesn't get anywhere near the assists that LeBron does nor can physically take over a game like the King can.

Add that the Cavs are starting to peak as a dynasty and Dirkrant will never be as good as LeBron James.

Dirk has put up huge numbers, has had great clutch games, but his teams have always come up short.

Durant's career will be very similar.

Lebron puts up numbers but this kid will pass him very soon. Dont let the media force you into thinking LBJ is the best thing going. Darren Williams is a BEAST like Durant!

Like I've said in my LeBron MVP threads, bash him now about not having any rings because that will change in another 6 weeks.

But back to my original post. Durant is a young version of Dirk. No, not identical twins but very similar. Both great players. Good guys overall. Have plenty of supporters. But neither one will win a ring. Oh he's only 20. Well Barkley, Malone, Stockton, etc were all great and came close but didn't get it done.

The ONLY thing dirk does extremely well is shoot. Durant is much better in most other major areas and is still a baby. Plus Durant will learn how to lead a team. Dirk has 0 clutch gene. Dirk is also considered dirtiest player in the nba. Durant is a class act and an all around cool cat(I actually know him). Who really roots for Dirk to win?!?!?! And if so WHY? There have only been 2 players I've ever wanted to win and thats sir charles and stockton.
