DAL vs. SAS - Game 6 - Very difficult as a Mavs fan

I think they made the best deal bringing in Haywood, Butler and that scrub Deshawn but they just didn't bring it in the playoffs. The Mavs are the only team in the West capable of beating the Lakers (in a 7 game series) and if they lose in round one it would be a damn shame.

I want to take the Mavs +4 but thats only because my mindset is they have to win. How much heart do they have? There aren't any more perks Mark Cuban can offer them to win because Mark Cuban already spoils them silly. The play seems like the Spurs but I just can't do it. Might be a no play

Anyone else go through this and are happy they stayed away once the game is over? Especially you all who live in cities with shitty teams  how do you fade your guys? Any interesting insight?

I'm on the Spurs, I think they have more heart/are coming off a bad road loss looking to perform well at home. I bought a point and a half when they were -3.5 to get it at -2. I see this one being a hardfought game, if you absolutely have to take Dallas as a fan here maybe buy a point and a half up to +6 now that the line is 4.5? I don't think they win tonight, but it's not unreasonable to think they can keep it close.

As a fan the best move would be to watch the game. Theres nothing worse than losing a wager because you're a fan.

The Spurs have a huge market in the NBA and Stern wouldn't be too mad to see them in the 2nd round especially with all the recent talk about how the (dirty) Spurs kept PHX from reaching the Finals on multiple occasions and surprise surprise it would most likely be SAS vs PHX in round two.

SAS vs. PHX = BIG MONEY FOR THE NBA.

I really think the Mavs got a big wake up call, I feel they have been the better team all along, and can win 3 in a row just like SA did.  If Dampier gets in the game tonight, he may be able to wreak some havoc, he can't be happy about not playing last game.  You think Carlisle is out if we don't win this series?  Our window for a possible title is closing my the minute.

The window really is closing. Dirk is only getting older, J. Kidd's mobility will reduce with age as well. Marion is a waste if he's not on a fast-break. It would be their last shot and then a huge shake up.

We need to free Roddy B!  I know he can be a liability and make stupid mistakes, but that guy can light it up too.  I figure at worst Roddy's turnovers cancel out JJ getting worked over on the defensive end.

Hey Cheeze the Spurs don't have a huge market in the NBA..Thats made up shit.The ratings are the lowest when The Spurs were in the Finals...The Phoenix rivalry should make much diff IMO...As for tonight I look for the Mavs to play there first complete game and win by arond 6-10 IMOand yes I agree 100 percent on your last statement

The Spurs have a sufficient enough market to gain tremendous revenue for the NBA for atleast 6 more games in the playoffs. Their market was big enough for the biggest fix in years a few years back when they came back from being down 3-2 to win the series against the Hornets including winning the 7th game in NO.

David Stern despises Mark Cuban. You must realize that David Stern is a powerful man and as a gambling man you are obligated to hate him. This is the same man that wont legalize NBA gambling but made the motherfucking all-star game in the city of Las Vegas which does not hold an NBA franchise yet is the cornerstone for rolling the dice if you will.

Spurs vs. Suns will make headlines, it will go 5, 6 or 7 and it will be good to watch. I agree the Spurs vs. Pistons was terrible but there is a greater power controlling the outcomes. Similar to the intentional shifting of techtonic plates done by HAARP in Anchorage Alaska that caused the Earthquakes in China, Haiti and Chile. But that is a whole different can of beans we don't need to open at this present time.
