It looks like the Cavs have shut it down for Lebron this year, but he still gets to collect his paycheck of nearly 200,000 a game for sitting there... or what the average teacher busts their ass to make in 6 years... Sometimes its just mind boggiling how much money these guys make... i guess thats why it costs the average dad 2-3 hundred dollars to take his family to a game...

these boys play alot of b ball from youngsters to middle school to high school college, alot alot of dediction and tremendous dedication, all the traveling, back to back , 6, 7 game road trips, etc, i assure that the owner makes a heck of alot more, i think baseball is even more strenuous , nore traveling etc, they truly earn it

If the NBA ceased operations i could honestly care less, the day the college game ends the baseball season starts.... I used to go to about 5-10 games a year back in the day but it just doesn't interest me to pay those crazy ticket prices to watch guys like racheed wallace and ron artest and the guy from the wizards who refused to go into the game, blantche i think it was..

i love the story of the guy saving up his money to take his kid on his birthday to see the kids favorite player lebron James.. The only thing he paid 80 90 100 bucks was to see James sitting on the bench in street clothes making in 48 minutes what it will take him 5 years to make.. I get just as much entertainment paying 9 bucks and sitting outside in nice spring time temps and watching AAA baseball....

At the end of the day it's just a matter of supply and demand. If we didn't follow / care as much as we do they wouldn't get paid the massive piles of cash that they do.

so the cavs are supposed to risk an injury of their star before the playoffs in worthless games so that your nobody friend can be a dumbass and buy tickets to a game not knowing that lebron obviously won't be playing?
he clearly doesn't know anything about basketball and the cavs, so why would I care that he made the dumb mistake of buying tickets without knowing what the hell is going on with his team?

the only reason they can afford to pay these outrageous salaries for playing is because of the amazing TV contract the NBA has. David Stern is a clown and should have been fired a long time ago.

What would you expect from an Utah resident??..truth is King James makes the NBA hundreds of millions, dont you call out sick evry now and then??
I don't know why the fuck i live in Utah now has any reveleance..i'm originally from allegeney county PA by the way not that it matters... My only point is it's just mind boggiling how much money these guys make and how it screws the average fan in the pocket book who wants to attend games, not just basketball but every sport. Lebron will make a cool million watching the last 5 games while fans who bought tickets are stuck paying a pretty penny to watch 2 hours worth of basketball, although i guess if i was cavs managment i might do the same thing....
