Doc Rivers sits ALL his starters to start the 4th. They proceed to miss 10 straight shots. All this while LeBron is on the bench. What the fuck is he thinking? Sit the starters for almost 5 minutes. Wouldn't you try and cut the deficit with James on the bench?

doc is a horrible coach, and yes i would try and cut the deficit with the opposing teams best player sitting...

im a celtics fan and i always thot doc was an overrated coach, celtics homers automatically think hes a legendary coach because we won a championship but we almost blew it that year too mainly because of doc rivers

It just amazes me at times...the logic. Or the lack thereof. I understand that the Celts are an older team. But you are down 8.......entering the 4th. James is sitting. Why the fuck am I looking at Rasheed Wallace continue to dominate the ball? The Celts held the LeBronless Cavs on the 1st 4 possesions. Imagine if they had a team on the floor that could ACTUALLY score the damn basketball?

Im a magic fan and think he did great. He also coached a awful magic roster to the playoffs back in  99. He got those stars to work togethor and play great d 2 years ago. Get off his back

DOC RIVERS IS A FCKING BUM HE DID THE SAME SHIT TO ME LAST YEAR WHEN I DROP SHITLOAD OF MONEY CELTICS AT THE HALF HES ALWAYS BENCHING HIS STARTERS , I DONT WANT TO HEAR THAT CORNY THEY OLD SHIT BECAUSE U DONT REWARD PLAYERS WITH REST WHEN THEIR DOWN TEN .

I'm not talking about his body of work as a coach. But the Cavs humiliated you last time out. You are on National TV. You are not going to the Finals without getting by the Cavs. Shouldn't you try to win the fucking game? Sit everybody for 8 minutes in Indy or Toronto or Ny! Get my point? Try to take advantage with LeBron on the bench. Or fuck it..........Rest everybody in the 1st quarter. If you want to quit.

I understand that Ret. My point of the thread was this........You had a shot down 8 starting the 4th. Isn't this a game that you have to TRY and win? IF you hope to make any noise in the EAST? Why don't you go for broke to start the 4th....with LBJ sitting? If it goes bad...........sit the last 7 minutes of the 4th. It took the Celts 5+ minutes to score a fucking point in the 4th. That is inexcusable!
