The Cavaliers, Magic and Lakers aren’t scared right now, but
they should be.
Boston has run off four straight wins following an 86-83 victory
over the resilient Wizards that saw the Celtics rally from a 13-point fourth
quarter deficit. And while some may question what the C’s were doing trailing
by that many at home in the first place to a losing team like Washington,
Boston finally found a way to get it done at the end of the day.
And that’s something new for a squad loaded with talented
veterans.
Perhaps most incredible about its run is that prior to the
Washington game, the C’s other three victories also all covered the spread,
something the team has been terrible at this year. In fact, Boston is almost an
automatic fade, with a wretched 24-36-1 ATS record. But the past few games the
team has found a way to cover the number against bad teams and live up to its
tremendous ability.
The key? Coach Doc Rivers thinks it has more to do with
brains than brawn.
“It ain’t the system. It’s our heads. It’s
between our ears,” He said after the loss to New Jersey. “We’ve got to come out
and play.”
And play they have. Not the Cavaliers or Lakers have won
seven of their past 10, let alone four straight.
Paul Pierce is finally getting his thumb and knee healthy.
Glen Davis and Marquis Daniels are playing their way back into game shape.
Rasheed Wallace – at least a bit – is playing more in the paint. Nate Robinson is blending in better. And Kevin
Garnett and Ray Allen are regaining their swagger and legs.
Listen to me now: take a black sharpie and circle March 14
on your calendar. That’s the night Boston rolls into Cleveland and wins on the
Cavs home floor for the second time this year.
Boston is back.

Did you watch 45 minutes of the 48???? Boston is old and only could come back against a team like the WHIIZZZZZ.
However people like you keep the point spread out of whack on this team so I do enjoy covering +13 lines and +10.5 2H lines. Made a nice little fortune against the Celtics.

Yea, Boston is playing better now, however, they need to beat Cavs and Magic in back to back series being the road team in the series to advance to the NBA Finals, highly, highly, highly, highly, unlikely.

It sucks to say ,but they arent that good. I love KG as a player and what he did for himself and the Boston team since arriving, but face it they will not contend in the playoffs against the Cavz - Magic - I doubt even the Bucks. They wont be back in the finals with this squad. KG was fortunate he got the trade before his age really caught him. His heart is there ,but the body isnt. They cannot do shit without him being top form. Pierce is on the down slide as well.
