Washington  -1 (-120) for 40 units... This team is playing like something is at stake, and there is something @ stake; jobs and thats why you are seeing so much hustle and compitition from this team. On the other side it looks like the complete opposite as it's no secret that the Knicks have retooled for a big splash in the off-season leaving players now status's with so many question marks as most on the team are not assured any security of staying with the team. So we have two teams here IMO taking their retooling routes with completely different attitudes (thats the way im seeing it anyways). Andray Blatche is looking like a great player on both sides of the ball right now and I think he realizes how important it is for him to keep up his stellar play. Since becoming a fulltime starter Blatche has averaged all-star numbers @ 24.8ppg 9.8rpg 2.8apg and 1bpg and is playing like a man possesed right now. Al Thorton is also looking very solid out their on the court and Flip Saunders has his players balling like there is meaning to this season yet. And in their 4 home games since the break the Wizards are 3-1su and 3-1ats and in each win the home crowd has cheered the Wizards off the court ( I feel stupid for fading them in 2 of those games). Very strong play on the Wizards laying the small number @ home tonight to win over the non-heartbeat team of the Knicks...POD
