I do not usually like playing NBA games but this one really stands out and I am making it a larger than normal play much like I did with the Viking over Dallas in the NFL. You can go back and look at my writeup for that game if you would like.
Boston/Atlanta Under 190.5...Heres why:
Fourth meeting between these two teams this year. All three prior games had higher totals of 193 twice and 195 once.Two of those three stayed under the total and were not even close. The one that went over was their last meeting which I watched. Both teams shot way better than average from three and the game still only ended at 198 (Atlanta was 9-16 and Boston was 10-20 from three).
Boston is on the second leg of a back to back and they have not played well in their back to backs this year. Back to backs can lead to tired legs which will affect jump shots. I realize Garnett is back but he adds a defensive presence down low which should help as well.
There is a reason this total is lower than the three prior totals for this game this year.
As always I would love to hear other perspectives on this game if you got em.

Billieman-Excellent analysis...to further support your position, I would figure a solid effort from the Celtics after they melted down last night. That is most likely going to display itself on the defensive end.
