Rejected Kevin Duran's game tying shot.

Couple boards short of another triple double.

Can't be considered the best without a ring but he will be a back to back MVP in a few short months.

They have their best shot yet. When they made the Finals San Antonio was the much better team. Then Bos eliminated them before winning it all. This year's team gives them a much better chance than last year.

Shaq is awful on offense but an incredible defensive presence in the paint. Allowing the lowest amt of points in the paint in the league. Anybody driving to basket gets laid on his ass ala 80's Pistons. Better supporting cast and plenty of postseason experience.

Not saying they will win it this year but I don't see how you can automatically discount them from doing it when it is by far their best chance.

Well he does it again against the Heat. Simply unbelievable.

And for the haters how were those free throws???

If the vote were taken today he would have a great chance to win unanimously. I just don't see who would get the vote over him.

Wouldn't be anything more than a great Finals matchup. 2 completely different but great players.

And has nothing to do with the MVP race this year. LeBron wins it hands down. Also adds 1st team defense again.

If LeBron wins a ring he will have earned it. If it were scripted he would've won one a couple years ago.

He also had 9 assists in the 1st qtr in which they led 36-18!!!!

Too bad he shot like shit and couldn't hit his free throws that they gave him. He would have really looked like a super-stud tonight.

Both the Nets and Knicks will at least have a chance by virtue of having the cap space to offer a max contract. Whether Lebron goes there is another story. Clippers are not even in that position.

If LeBron shows interest in the Clippers trust me the Clippers will do what they have to do to get enough space. That goes for any team that LeBron would show interest in.

But this isn't that type of thread. I have another thread on the 3 teams that LeBron might sign with.

This is a back to back MVP thread. And despite some hate on LeBron nobody has even offered up a valid contender to his MVP trophy. It should be unanimous and ring or no ring nobody can discount the significance of that.

15 assists tonight in yet another win.

50 assists in his last 4 games.

Cavs have been down to their 3rd string PG and don't miss a beat because LeBron picks up the slack.

Durant is a great young player but not great enough to win the mvp this year. LeBron rejected the shit out of him in crunchtime. He will get some votes but not the winner.

He can shoot Free Throws and 3's better than Lebron. If the Camera were constantly on him, more people would know about him.

He has advantage in free throws .875 to .770.

Threes advantage is very slight 37.2 to 36.0.

LeBron has edge in FG% 50.2 to 48.8.

LeBron has more steals and blocks.

LeBron avgs a whopping 5 more assists than Durant.

Thunder record 27-21. Cavs 39-11.

Good try. Probably best one to throw at LeBron but not enough.
