Wow.......NBA starting up already. As I get older the years go by faster and faster. 
Three plays tonight:
Boston +5 I am not sold on Boston as a championship team this year. They are getting old and that usually doesn't play out real well. That said, I think they will be motivated to show they are still a "championship" team tonight. Color me one who doesn't the the Big Aristotle experiment will work real well for the Cavs.
Houston +8.5 Portland is very solid at home. The Rockets will miss Yao but it isn't like they've never suited up without Yao and T-Mac, so it isn't like they've never been in this situation. I'll take the points on opening night. This one makes me a little nervous.
Washington/Dallas Over 208.5 Washington can't/won't play a lick of defense of all year.......maybe Dallas will try to slow them down but I doubt it. Dallas wins this game most easily by running Washington out of the gym. I'm thinking 125-110 type of game...
