Love the taste of chalk, always have. Used to eat chalk when I was little 
Tough beat with San An yesterday, really disappointed in their execution down the stretch and was very impressed with Houston and their overall performance. Like 3 faves taking care of business today.

PORTLAND TRAIL-BLAZERS - 6.0 (B/2) - - - I don't go against this Philly team often, but tonight is one of those games where they don't stand much of a chance. On a 3 games in 4 nights situation all on the road. They were facing high octane teams on PHO, GS and SAC who should have run all the gas out of this Philly squad. This will be their 5th road game in a row and their last before a 2 game home stand. On a back to back night flying from Cali to Portland, I don't see this Philly squad keeping up. Matchup wise I really think Portland owns them and have for the past 2 years. A blowout in Philly earlier this year shouldn't scare you away from Portland. A: Revenge factor. B: In that game Bayless went 1-11, Outlaw 3-10 and minimal to no interior defence. Tonight I actually think Outlaw will outplay Thaddeus Young, Roy will outplay a tired Iggy and Joel, Oden and Aldridge all have good game as they send the 76ers back to Philly with no brotherly love.

ORLANDO MAGIC - 3 (B/2) - - - Magic have been the big surprise team of the season by far. No one would have thought they would actually be in the race to hold top spot in the east. Stan Van Gundy, although loud and obnoxious at times has gotta be in the running for coach of the year. How he got J.J Redick and Martin Gotat to be solid NBA contributes is beyond me. Doing so he has created a deep roster. One that can easily make some noise in the playoffs. Tonight they face the Knicks who can surprise us at any given game. Tonight I doubt that will happen. Dwight only made 4 shots last game yet Orlando cruised to a victory. NY kept it close without Lee but tonight I suspect Howard to have at least 15-20 attempts. Jeffries, Harrington and Lee (if he plays) will try to stop him but won't have much success. NY tends to double Superman a lot and tonight kick-outs to the Magic's various shooters (Alston, Lee, Pietrus, Lewis, Hedo,Redick) will amount to a lot of 3 point makes. This Orlando team has one of the best road records in the NBA, this Magic team has beat an NBA record for most 3's in a game, this Magic team had two all-stars and made the biggest splash at the trade deadline. This Magic team is for real and will have no problem covering a low spread at MSG tonight.

ATLANTA HAWKS - 11.5 - - - The Hawks are one of the most underrated home teams in the league. Peeps in Atlanta have been hooked ever since they took the Champs to 7 games in the 1st round. They have come out and backed their boys. Only 7 losses at home, ATL holds the 4th spot in the East with Wade and co. on their ass. They know how important home court is, tonight a young resiliant Minny team will come into ATL on a back to back and 3 game in 4 night situation. ATL has won the last 5 matchups vs Minny and covered 7 of the last 8. Although I don't look into that stat a lot since teams change I thought you guys might like that stat. The Hawks have covered and won their last 8 games at home and Joe Johnson has been averaging more then 30 points a game during that stretch. Without A.C Law backing up Bibby, look for Joe to run mor eoffensive sets which is a positive thing. Josh Smith and Al Horford have big games as the Hawks eat the Wolves alive.
