Dropped both wagers yesterday but manged to hit a big teaser and parlay. Still a loss for the night, looking to get it back today, playing quite a bit today. No POD today, flat bets. As always best of luck gents. Peace out - - - MAK
DALLAS MAVERICKS + 1 - - - Mavs proved to me that they have that swagger and confidence after pulling off an amazing comeback in the 2nd half of the Philly game. They did not quit and it was their defense that got them that win. Dallas has recently been playing some good D. As league leaders in rebounds they will pound the Bucks without Bogut. The subtle trade they pulled off bringing Ryan and Matt over from the Cats is a very good move. Ryan Hollins is a young buck at 7 ft who can block shots with the best of em. He got some key minutes and contributed. Bucks are good but not good enough to beat winning teams. They are 1-5 AST in their last 6 at home vs a team with a winning record. Dallas is getting their shit together and are the better team hands down. Take the Mavs on the road.

PHOENIX SUNS - 4.5 - - - Suns are not cohesive, they are not a team to back against the better teams in the league. When Shaw is playing the best ball on your team something is wrong. I still think they have the best starting 5 in the NBA but Terry Porter can't coach for shit. It is obvious his system does not work with this roster, Steve Kerr made a mistake letting Dantoni go and he knows it. With that being said, PHX coming of the most embarrasing loss in their recent history. Amare off his worst game in a long time will come back hard. Steve Nash will be extra motivated for this game as all the media can talk about is how he is not the same player without coach Dantoni. Well tonight Nash will show why he won back to back MVP titles and why he runs the uptempo fast break offense better then anyone. Nash, Barbossa, Grant and Amare will give it to their old coach. Shaq will be a presence NY can't stop and Suns will be running and gunning at MSG.

PORTLAND TRAIL-BLAZERS + 1 - - - Really and truly not a game you want to bet on, coin toss really. I just promised a few games ago I suspect a drop off and some losses for CLE. For one they are without very important players in West and Big Z. They also are getting the best of teams on the road as a: the opposing arenas are packed because of Lebron and b: every single player on the opposing team wants to beat the Cavs who now hold the 3rd best record in the leage. Portland is healthy and Oden coming off the best game of his career will cominate the paint against Hickson, Anderson and Wallace. Oden is leading his team with 12 double doubles and will get his 13th tonight. Rudy, Roy, Outlaw, Aldridge and Bayless all contribute as a total team effort defeats the Cavs tonight.

HOUSTON ROCKETS - 3.5 - - - Man the Jazz are just a horrible horrible road team. They have been for the past 3 years and I really think it has something to do with the travel. Now, on a back to back where they are 1-8 ATS, they fly from Salt Lake City to Houston Texas, a few hours sleep, then practice, a nap and game time. This quick turnaround will be too much for the Jazz men to endure. Yao Ming playing I think the best solo ball of his career carying his team on his back and getting victory after victory. Although I think the Jazz are deaper, the Rockets are a good home team. Utah is 1-7 in their last 8 home games winning only in Memphis. I do suspect Sloans team to fight and keep it close but Houston covers this one at home as Yao goes for 30 and 10.

DETROIT PISTONS - 5.5 - - - I know you guys are gonna think I am crazy but roster wise I think this is one of the best teams in the NBA. Too bad they are a little too cocky and arrogant to realize they gotta work together to win in todays NBA. Stucky, Iverson, Hamilton, Prince and Sheed is the 3rd best starting 5 in the NBA (1st PHX, 2nd BOS my opinion) With guys like Antonio, Amir, Kwame and Maxiel they are also bigger then many teams in the NBA. That size will be the difference tonight. Toronto coming off a bad loss to ATL. Some players really getting on each other, rightly so as it was bad decisions that lost them the game. Raps havea tendency to loose focus after a game like that. I think this group is dejected and won't get things back until the trade goes through and after the all star break. Detroit as won 10 straight games at home vs the Raps and will continue to dominate my boys in D Town.
