Both will go down as phenomenal college players but are predicted to not be as effective in the pro's, who do you guys think will be better at the next level.
I think Tebow...
He has the NFL body and I think he could be effective at a few postions in the NFL - RB, FB, Linebacker, maybe QB, His work ethic and his drive to become succesful I think will land him somewhere in the NFL and I think he will be a very effective NFL player someday. On the other hand Hansbrough relies a lot on his strength and his size in college to muscle those kids around I dont know if he is going to be able to bang with the big guys down low and he also is going to have to move around a lot more and guard better more athletic players, he has a decent shot for his size so I think he will be able to play in the NBA but I dont know how effective he will be, I dont think he will be a starter, and I think Tebow could be, who knows but this is definitly a interesting topic.....

Good call Ret... I think Hansbrough... I hate the guy because he is so awkward but he somehow seems to always get it done. Plus he won't have to change positions in the pros.

But if I'm choosing- I say Tebow because the NFL has a few more options for positions and he certainly seems to have the versatility to do so.
I say Tebow becomes a fairly effective wing back- a la Frank Wycheck. He'll run a bit more for short yardage but I can see him being a 30 catch, 700 all purpose yd and 5-6 td's type guy.

i dont see tebow doing much in the nfl, i cant see him running without the holes he gets from his line, he wont beat anybody on speed in the nfl and i highly doubt he would ever make it as a pure qb, im sure he could find a spot on special teams if he wanted. im sure hansborough can make it a career off the bench, hell scalabrini made millions and won a ring

I lean Hansborough. He's awkward and not the most athletically gifted, but he's got a jump shot in the 10-15 range and that will be HUGE for him in my opinion.

Hansi no doubt...Tebag will be the worlds biggest NFL bust
what are you talking about? no one think he will be a great NFL player so why would he be a bust? No expectations and doing nothing in the NFL is not being a bust. Being a bust is not living up to your expectations

both are proven winners but hansborough is going to lose all of his physical advantages when he plays in the NBA. players are going to be bigger and stronger...Tebow will find a way to make a positive impact on his team...hansborough will too but i def lean Tebow...did i mention in a total UF homer?

I think Tebow, I also beleive at QB, which is not a popular around here, or with most NFL scouts. Best scenario for Tebow, is get drafted ( 3rd round reasonable contract) to a team that will be pateint (wants Tebow to be a QB ) with him and let him sit behind a veteran QB for 2 years and develop. A Warner or Hasleback type QB. Then in year 3 let him start. I beleive this kid has all the athletic skills plus the drive and will to be a great QB in the pro's. His leadership quality are un matched. He wants to be a QB not a tight end. If you gave him the choice to be drafted early and give him more money to be an h-back or less money and follow the path I have stated above, I am sure he would want the QB role beleiving in himself to get the big money down the road as a winning QB. Some general manager should give him this opprotunity. I beleive he could be the next Steve Young and win championships. I know about his slow delivery, never been under center, runs to much critics. Plenty of slow deliveries that have been productive in the NFL ( see Kosar )
The 2 years developing on an NFL bench will take care of any other problems because when Tebow wants something he dedicates himself 100% to accomplishing his goals. I hope he gets the chance to be a Quateback in the NFL, He deserves that!
Hansbrough will be a decent pro player ! He wont be great by any stretch of the imagination ! A good contributor as long as he can stay healthy. Probable off the bench. His effort and dedication will should keep him in the league for a long time. I see no upside or star potential in Hansbrough that I see in Tebow.
Does anyone agree with my veiw on these 2 young men ????
He will definently give it his all

Dont think anyone has noticed but we would almost take any decent Qb with a heartbeat in Chicago... Tebow would fit perfect.. If the line doesnt hold up at least he can run for his life...
