Spent some time capping these games rather then going with straight gut, luckily all trends and analysis matched my gut feel on games therefore I am going a little large on the plays despite having a horrible Sunday, looking to take it back large. Best of luck fellas.
HOUSTON ROCKETS - 6.5 - - - The Rockets struggled against GS at home until the final minutes where they ran away with it. If Houston can play with that intensity all the time no one can stop them. Without T-Mac this team still finding their rhythm. This Rockets team is as deep as any team in the West. Role players will have a big impact on this game. Scola, Landry, Brooks, Alston, Wafer will do well. They may not be big names but Rick Adelman brings out the full potential of this lineup. The cover does depend on Yao and Ron though, if they don't play well Griz could surprise em, but I suspect the 2 stars to do well tonight. Battier is the subtle impact player, his defense early in the starting lineup will cause problems for Gay and Mayo. Rockets are 6-1 ATS on the road against teams with a losing home record, they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Griz are 1-10 ATS at home against teams with a winning record. All trends point to an easy cover for the Houston Rockets.

GS WARRIORS ATS - - - Yes the Warriors have been playing like garbage, yes the warriors can't spell defense let alone play it. Nevertheless the loosing has gone on long enough, guys have some pride on this team, Jackson & Biedrins is not used too loosing so much, watch for them to step up big tonight. Jamal Crawford will eat up OKC's PG's and SG's and Golden State snaps their 9 game losing streak with a cover tonight in OKC. OKC coming off a horrible road trip that lasted forever, despite that they have been playing some good basketball covering the last 5 ATS. Maybe because the lines were way out there, today I suspect a low favored line for GS and an easy cover. Thunder are 0-6 ATS at home after a road trip of 7 days or more, GS is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games against teams with a home losing record. GS has gotta take this one, Don Nelson has never coached a team with a 10 game losing streak.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS + 5.0 - - - I understand the reluctance of most cappers when betting on the Clips. I just plan to back these guys as I really think their starting 5 is strong. Now that coach Dunleavy is using the tactics of Dantoni and Stan Van Gundy by playing all his starters over 30 mins. Why go to the bench when you don't have a bench? Good coaching strategy in my opinion. In this game 10 guys will play over 30 mins. All ORL starters and all LAC starters. I just like matchups in this game. Camby will try and defend Howard and may do a better job then most can in this league. Baron will own Nelson, Gordon is better then Redick and Thornton and Randolph can both play the pick and roll defense with Lewis and Turk. Clippers are 5-1 in their last 6 ATS and the Orlando Magic hate Mondays as they are 0-5 in their last 5 Monday games. Silly stat but sometimes, rituals can affect game play. Lowly Clipper stay with it tonight.

May or may not play the CHA@MIA game, need to do a bit more research as I don't have a gut feel either way, probably will stay away from that one as well as any totals , teasers or parlays today.
