Doin it up a bit different today fellas, only one jumps off the board and only one is what I will play. Let's see if finally being a smart wagerer and using money management pays off, or if I get licked.
HOUSTON ROCKETS - 2.5 - - - This is the highest single unit wager this reason but take it into consideration that there are no more straight wagers on my slate so a combination of that fact and confidence in the pick makes it a high unit wager. A lot of people still doubt the Rockets due to their lack-luster start. Implementing Ron Artest to the team took a little team. The absence of Battier and under rated player has affected them. Despite that they have a great road record at 6-3 and are coming off back to back road wins. The Miami Heat just cannot contend with a team with a dominant low post presence...um who does Houston have? Oh yea that 7'6 giant Yao Ming. With Haslem, Beasly and Marion the Heat have the smallest front-court in the NBA. Who the fuck is gonna guard Yao? Mark Blount? Please. Despite many people saying Yao is a tree who just stands there, he does IMO have a soft touch and a low post skill that I have never seen from ANYONE with his height and size. He will dominate the post barring any foul trouble. As for Wade, well he is playing more minutes then Mello, Kobe, LBJ, his team needs him to stay in games. This will affect him down the stretch. Ron Artest will be the main factor. His defense on Wade will cause the Heat to fold early in this game. The Rockets just dominate matchups against the heat. This should be an easy cover for the Houston Rockets.
