Sulfurboy,
There are different interruptions of this theory!
My 3-6-13 theory:
Line must open 2.5-3-3.5 or 5.5-6-6.5 or 12.5-13-13.5
The line must stay not change dramatically . . .
Example: Line opens at +6 and changes to +4 and goes back to +6 . . .
3-6-13 theory only applies to RAOD DOGS!!!!
In addition to my straight 3-6-13 plays, I toss a “sprinkle” on the ML.
With the ML I have made a decent ROI.
I will be keeping track of final 3-6-13 plays so feel free to check on my record!
What is the story behind the 3-6-13 play?????
Between 1968 to 1998 a graduate group of students did a thesis on matching interior equations, using the LV books 'road dog' # of 3/6/13/ take note: this was based on the NBA only, NOT college; there finding on 3000+ match-ups where a astonishing 72% rate of covering the spread. IT was taken farther in 1999 to2007 by a well known LV HANDICAPPER who found it's success rate rise to 76% There's a book that has been published, titled; 3/6/13/ THE MIT REPORT. there is much more, this is a basic outline... this year alone, if you have an interest, you will find, road dogs in the NBA getting 3/6/13/ points, have covered 22 times out of 27 match-ups

L.A. Clippers opened at +13 but the line is currently at +1, voiding the L.A. Clippers as a 3-6-13 theory play.
If you a referring to the Sacramento Kings , the line opened at +9 which in turn voids the 3-6-13 theory.

Blueprint,
There are so many different variations of the 3-6-13 rule. Some people don’t base them on opening lines, some people don’t look at line movement and some people don’t use road underdogs.
I found the ROI of the 3-6-13 theory to be extremely profitable. Not only do I make a straight play on a 3-6-13 road underdog but I also make a small play on the ML.
Last night my 3-6-13 play was TOR +3 (2pts) ML +130 (1pt)
Total ROI = 330pts
TOR was the play last night because line movement never passed +2.5, +3 or + 3.5
Also the line has to open at 2.5,3,3.5,5.5,6,6.5,12.5,13,13.5 for a road underdog!
A perfect example last night was
Last year I found the ROI to be extremely profitable. Not only do 3-6-13 road underdogs cover- sometimes they win straight up which in turn creates a huge ROI on the ML!
You have to understand, winning percentages are not what matters to me. I want a high ROI! That’s the bottom line!
