Oh, and if you take out games where the team's best player sat out due to illness or injury they are a perfect 14-0!

Portland always seems to guard Kobe well. I dont know what it is but they do. I might stay away completely after watching them looked like they were lost in the preseason. Too early for a play for me.

D'AnPhony should bring some excitement to NY, that's for sure.

I think the team will do well this year but what are you guys going to do about "Starbury"?  I heard he may be the starting SG once they trade Crawford.

Or do you think the Knicks tank for two years to get LeBron?

Welcome to the thread.  The bolded statement is incorrect, sir.  Bryant has averaged more PPG against Portland than he has any opponent since Nate McMillan has become the Blazers' head coach (end of the 2005 season)

Then again, we all know that when the FGA go up, the FAKERS arrive and the chances of winning drop faster than panties at a strip club

guys, kind if new on the blogs, dont you trhink portland matches up real well with laker, i see oden and byrnum being close to even as far as byrnum little better offense and oden being little better defense, then u got aldridge who has really worked on his game offseason and allready was good, i put him even skills overall with either gasol or odom , then you have kobe vs brandon roy , yes everyone knows kobe is a stud, but hes battling hand injury, how will that affect him and B.Roy is usually guarnteed 20-5-5 which is real good, then u look at point guards, pretty even, maybe even small advantage portland, blake and fisher pretty close, but have european player of the year stud guard rudy fernadez who can play 3 positions and will be strong candiate for 6th man of year maybe even roy. 
ONE OTHER GAME I THINK BEST BET IS MILWAUKE +6 AGAINST BULLS, HEAD COACH SCOTT SKILES HAS ALOT BETTER TALENT WITH HIM AT MILWAUKE AND WILL BE PLAYING AGAINST HIS FORMER TEAM THE BULLS WHO FIRED HIM.

Portland looked like a bunch of college kids playing a pro team in an exhibition.

Not sure.  It's essentially a home game for the Lakers too.  Back to backs in the NBA are overrated...Especially this early in the season and with them doing minimal travel.

Haven't seen much of the Clippers yet but will get back to you tomorrow.
