Well here we are once again. TNT suicide night. Wouldn't you think we would learn by now? LOL
Here are some interesdting issues to think about.
Let's start with the Miami/Phili game. Currently 70% is on Miami. Yet the line went from 10 to 9.5???
Next;
Chicago is currently on the 5th road game in a 6 game stretch. So far, they are 3-1 ATS as a roadie. And they are 3-1 on the OVER/UNDER, scoring an average of 190.75 points over these road games. And even without two key players and an old stiff guy in the middle!!!!
The 5th road game with these last two on the west coast??? I see tired legs versus a rested GS home team. Despite that obvious statement, 65% is on the Bulls??? I know 13 points is a lot to cover, but I just see at a weak and tired team looking to get back home. But I just don't get the high % on the BUlls!!!
And lastly, the Rockets up against the King. Giving 5 to a good playing Clev. team seems a little daunting. But I like the Rockets at home. They will try in minimze the impact LeBron as and force someone else to step up. Yao in the middle cases LeBron problems. Now I know Clev has played pretty well in Houston, but tonight I just think they Houston gets it done. I also like the under in this one as well.
So based on the above insights I am taking the following:
Phili -9.5
HMMMM? Line going down despite 69% on Miami. Miami played AND covered against Detroit last night. Now they get into Phil late and prepare for Phili. Miami obviously has not covered two spreads in a B2B situation this year, so I like my odds here.
Houston -5
At home, just like this situation here a lot.
Golden State -13
I see a fricken blow out here. A tired, weary and depleted team coming off a hard fought, fast paced Protland loss should get their collective asses handed to them.
Golden State/Chicago UNDER the total.
To high here for the reasons mentioned above.
Not going crazy on these as I never seem to do well on TNT nights. Learned my lesson. Will make final selections later today.
As always comments welcome!

when 70% is on a dog and the line goes down isnt that normal line movement? ||confused.gif' border=0>
if it went up it would be a concern....but i digress.
good luck on the climb amigo

Uniden like your writeup! We ususally agree at least on one game, and friend everytime I have noticed we agree the team covers! I am a Texan, I am a fan of SA, Dallas, but Kubin is an idiot left wing nut, and the Rockets! I bet against them also, but tonight I agree with you with ya ! Rockets should cover at home! BOL Friend! What about the crazy ATS record the dogs have on thursday. I like all 3 favs but in the league contest (like it matters) i took all three dogs.
GS is on a five days of rest. they dominated Charlotte by 31 last game at home and they will do the same against injuried beat up and tired chicago.

Marion won't play & I like Philly to cover but who knows? Lately everytime I think I have a strong play, logic doesn't seem to come into play much - really suckin big-time.
Like your Philly & GS best. To me, Cleve & the GS O/U is a tossup, but they probably all are.

really like Philly......1st, have to fade that public!!!....2nd, this isn't just a case of the same Sixers from all year just starting to play well.......the team that has played well lately is a batch of young athletic guys that are starting and seeing alot more minutes, mixing with Andre's, Miller and Igoudala......Carney has been seeing minutes, playing well.....Lou Williams seeing minutes, playing well.....and Thaddeus Young, just really starting to see some big minutes the last 5-6 games and he has looked real nice....Young was the 3rd highest touted senior coming out of high-school 2 years ago, behind Oden and Durant....it's starting to show.....it seems like alot of points, but they are there for a reason IMO

Hey guys,
Yeah, I know. NT just kills us. And Crodies, you make a great point about the damn doggies barking loud on TNT nights. But damn!!! Can that shit continue with teams like GS!
Littlec, I should have done the samething my friend. You are smarter than me. You post was right on as well. I think that is why they have surprised us all lately. All of the sudden they "get it". And are playing well together.
Good luck to us tonight.

Stick with Philly and GS. Line opend at 9' and went to 10 and now back to the original 9'(at least with my book). Only if it goes dwon further isi it a issue to take Miami instead. GS line opend at the same 9' and went to 13' before settling in at 12'. To me it means a cover for the Warriors. If it slides a whole point further downward before tip then I will probably lay of. If it goes back to 13', then load up some more if ya got room.
I'm on Clv for the TNT opener as Clv is a very good ROAD DOG agst the west this season. Hou on a 3 game ATS winner. Think Le Bron and Iggy make a game of it.

Hey Chowin,
Thanks for the heads up. Nice logic. I am REALLY struggeling with the Clev play. They both play decent defense and the O/U number has slowly gone down. I may just wind up on the UNDER and let it go at that. Maybe a no play as well.

Final plays for Uniden. All 3 units each:
Phili -9.5
Golden State -12.5
CBB
Pitsburgh -3
WI GB -2.5
Indiana -2
GOd, I hate taking all favorites!!! But all but one is at home. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Uniden,
Golden State has had five full days off before this game. I see one of two possibilities...
1. They are so hyped up to get back to the court, that the over excitement has them taking bad shots. Chicago outrebounds them by 20 and has that many more chances.
2. 5 days off has made them forget how to play the game all together. They are 0-2 on 3+ days of rest this season.
Either way, Chicago's number of touches should have this game slowed down to a managable pace. They can't play the up-tempo game that G State can and won't try either. 212 seems like a lot, but I'm torn on the side.
I do like Philly though and I'm leaning Cleveland with McGrady Questionable.
