Knowing how big of a gambler Michael Jordan is from all the stories I've read about him, in theory, it would seem soooooo tempting for him to have these so-called "runners" throw down, let's say $500,000 every now and then against his team ATS for the sake of "free money." He can judge match-ups problems and strengths better than most of us, I would assume, so why wouldn't he be real certain his team would get whacked in a game, and have an ample opportunity to make bank off of it???

Any thoughts of this? Again, no proof, but feels like he would be so tempted to do such a thing.

I have no idea on betting limits offshore. I've read from different threads that you can bet whatever you want in Vegas, and with his connection to going there, made sense to me at the time.

Referring to making 1 incomplete pass for the chance for all your friends and family to almost triple their bet would seem veryyyy tempting if I knew they were going to go large on it.

Considering what a douchebag Michael Jordan is as a human being (his gambling habits and his refusal to pay got his father into the after-life) I am sure it crossed his mind once or twice.........

It was a rumor, but never proven as the guys that killed his dad were never caught.  But Jordan's refusal to talk about it and the lack of any real effort to find the killers (he had millions that he could have spent on private investigators if the police weren't doing the job) pretty much confirmed everybody's suspicious.

No way mj would do that for one hes too competitive to bet against himself and two why risk winnning a small amount when u have hundreds of millions in the pipeline. Everyone knows about pete rose, mj would never risk his legacy.

I agree with that too, but the thought of "I don't know what it's like to be in his shoes" makes it seem possible that a person in the zone he's been all his life would get a thrill off of something like that.

Dunno but last 2 times I've been to mandalay for football season good ol' Charlie Hustle makes an appearance limping in the sportsbook and makes a few bets and then he leaves.
