Buddy at work went to Vegas super bowl weekend and got me a Baltimore ticket.  I did not read the fine print on the ticket because I am going to Vegas next week.  But now I am wondering if my ticket is expired.  Any thoughts or advice?  I thought I could cash in person within 45 days but I think I am seeing a 30 day of event expiration.

Tickets give very clear instructions on the back.  If it has expired, it is a crapshoot whether the manager/spoortsbook will honor the ticket.  Let us know how it works out.

But then again somebody else on here may have been dumb enough to let a winning ticket expire and can tell you their experience first hand.  I honestly don't know what is going to happen to your ticket.

I have one from the Flamingo on the Giants winning the World Series and I have 365 days to cash in. Pari-Mutual tickets are usually 120 days.

Where is your ticket from?

I'm not sure you're reading the ticket correctly. I'm almost positive you have six months to cash in your ticket. Was the thirty days pertaining to something else? That is very odd.

I am holding a ticket right now from The Venetian that clearly states that all race and sportsbook tickets are void 120 days after the event.

Point is, each book has different rules.  Your statement about 6 months does not apply across the board, just to your one specific book.

Thanks everyone for their input.  CJM I think you lead me to read my ticket again....Parimutual tickets are 120 from purchase or 30 days from the event....Non Parimtual ticket is good for one year.  I confused the two terms....did my research and feel much better.  Can't wait to cash my ticket Thursday night.

Work on math skills, ( how long is 45 days ) mark it up as a learning h exp.. The larger the amount , and I'm guessing this is a small wager, less chance you have of collecting, you snooze, you lose

I believe you have one year to collect.
Talk to the manager at your sportsbook

I recall the sports oil manager from the M on the radio saying the limit on your ticket means nothing. The computer will remember your bet for 1year.
After that you will need help from a manager.he said they will pay you but it may take a few days.
