Construction isn't too bad. Most the construction is behind the casino where they are building the observation wheel. Sportsbook sucks, the TVs are horrible. Most the bars are now closed. Check in line is always extremely long and slow.

if your driving youll need to enter through the back of the quad, as the old front entrance is now gone. If your just looking for a cheap room to sleep in then the quad is your best bet, its right in the middle of the strip. Like I mentioned, the majority of the construction is taking place behind the casino so you wont even notice it.

The whole area is a mess. The place was a dump before the construction and now it's even worse.

Stopped by The Quad for a few hands of black jack as I was trolling the strip last week.  The place has a pulse as the dealers are all dressed like pop culture stars and they do a little show, pretty fun.  As far as the construction, it is noisy in the morning, and I can not see there being any rooms that would escape the noise considering you can hear the construction from the Flamingo next store.

I would look at Harrahs, Flamingo or Balleys....likely to get a similar priced room in the same center strip area you are looking for.  If you choose Flamingo, give your check in guy or girl a couple of bucks and make sure you are in the original wing away from the construction.
