#7 Posted: 1/15/2013 5:05:47 PM MGM is fairly inexpensive, as well a Monte Carlo. You can Ali stay at Tropicana which has a nice book and it's usually not real full. Shoot me a message if you need help with stuff around town for your bachelor party. Strip clubs, Nightclubs etc. |

You asking about cheap hotels and want comps in a sportsbook. The most you'll get is a few free drinks. If you bet sports with their players card you get like $1 back for every $500-$1000 depending on the casino, some dont even comp sports betting. If you bet horses it's a lot better like $1 for $12-$25 bet. So unless you're going to drop $10G or more first try getting a casino host and they will take care of you. Other wise enjoy the games and your drinks.

#12 Posted: 2/2/2013 10:26:10 AM The Plaza downtown has a good book with a cheap hotel, but no comps through the sportsbook. The only "cheap" hotel I knew of with good drink comps will close in a day, Bill's. Someone said the El Cortez. That is a great little book, and the Ogden Suites right across the street are probably the best value in Vegas. Southpoint gives drink coupons freely, not an expensive hotel, but it is in the middle of nowhere.

Unless you are going to be betting upwards of 10K a game, I wouldn't be worried about comps.
In all honestly, it seems that sports bettors aren't comped as well as other players. You are seriously better off just paying for a nice room and betting smaller. Just my opinion. BOL bro

#18 Posted: 2/25/2013 6:28:25 PM Just got back from Vegas.
Here are some books that really took me by surprise:
(1) Palms
(2) Treasure Island
(3) Mirage
--------
Other sports books on the strip that can get the job done
(4) Harrah's
(5) Excal
----------- Downtown
Golden Nugget. Don't waste your time anywhere else! Plaza is redoing their book and they will be the biggest book downtown when they are done. |
