Group gets a suite and watches games in the room on slingboxes and TVs in a well stocked room. So we don't need to watch the games in the book. Nothing fancy, we look for functionality and price over style. Have stayed at Stardust, Plaza and Bill's. Nowhere near high end but fun. Just found out this week my Bill's reservation this year is changing due to a remodel of Bill's. They will send me to either Harrah's, Flamingo or The Quad, which was the I.P. Has anyone done MM at any of those casinos? Just want to be able to make the bets w/ 1H and 2H bets a must, and not always wait in long lines. I have heard the I.P./Quad's book can get a bit crowded with long lines all day? We are also considering South Point, Plaza or the Stratoshpere. South Point seems to have many fans, but it is more expensive. Thanks for any advice.

Prospect Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 498 Location: Florida	#2 Posted: 11/30/2012 8:50:42 PM Sounds pretty cool.Take a look at the Rio..Rooms have to be bigger than Bill's and I know they are bigger than Harrahs..Fridge included.Free shuttle to the strip..Decent book and not that bad wait lines on SundayNFL (never been for MM)..Food in Deli off the book is great for take-out to room.Gold Coast right across the street for beer and spirits at normal prices..Another thing-send a team player over there for a run and check out the betting (Odds) lines at the GC as it is a different property (Boyd gaming) from CET..Rio and Bills.Flamingo Harrahs..Maybe get a better # over there. Just re-read your post and they did not offer you the Rio? Call and complain and see what happens..Good luck

Hate Flamingo book, but you would be right next door to Bill's. Guys there behind window post lines faster and are more fun to deal with than flamingo or harrah's.

It was huge. Cheapest/biggest/coolest room in Vegas on the strip for less than $200-$360 a night. It was known as the John Wayne Suite. Definitely a Vegas throw back. I can't and will not ever be able to afford a suite that big again unless I hit the lottery.

Veteran Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 1569 Location: California	#5 Posted: 12/1/2012 3:50:35 AM Keep in mind Bills sportsbook is part of Cesars Entertainment which also owns Flamingo, IP (Quad), Harrah's, Cesar's Palace, Bally's, Paris Planet Hollywood and Rio. That means you get the exact same odds in each of those properties as well as the same types of bets offered. Cesars book to me is the best of the bunch, Harrah's is the worst.

Prospect Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 337 Location:	#6 Posted: 1/4/2013 9:28:42 AM I spet a two weekends at thte old vegas after going to vegas 10 ttimes over tthe years and i still say old vegas is the best if your going for just gambling. you can be at the slots for hours and ot lose all your money ad you can usually watch tthe games you want to while doing it
