Too many local scum that migrated from the stardust.

#7 Posted: 9/9/2012 10:18:32 PM overall tropicana has impressed me, which is not easy to do, you want to stay away from the local garbage places which tend to be a bit DARKER then my comfort. |

#8 Posted: 9/11/2012 11:10:51 PM If you want a place on the strip, I think Flamingo and Luxor are good values. I stayed at Ellis Island back in March for a few nights and it wasnt bad at all. It is a block off the strip, rooms are super clean, its connected to a fabulous barbque place (best I ever had), but most important to me, free internet. Just my take. |

#9 Posted: 9/11/2012 11:21:29 PM I think the best value in Vegas is at the Golden Nugget, if you dont mind staying downtown (which i happen to love). The rooms are pretty cheap, and they are actually extremely nice. Dont be fooled just cause its a downtown casino, it is definitely the class of that area, absolutely beautiful casino

#10 Posted: 9/12/2012 10:38:56 AM Palace Station still has the whiteboard sports book where the employees have to write the numbers in, Kinda funny to still see. Also I believe the Poker Room is open 24 hours, with low limit games.
Kinda smokey and old, but not the worst place in town.

Yeah the Stratosphere still has the white board sports books too, lol so grimey, person dont even give good lines either, really makes you not want to bet there.
