#14 Posted: 2/10/2012 6:48:56 PM I'll be staying at Caesar's & MGM from 3/12-3/18 (maybe longer if things go well ). Will be posted up primarily at the books for ncaa tourney action, the tables, the pools. Can't wait to make the regular trips to In N Out Burger, the Hard Rock and Caesar's cafe's for hot wings, the Wynn for grey goose red bull's while playing pai gow, and pad thai at Planet Hollywood. Counting down the days. |

Ceasers was voted the best book....via covers. And you can use the same players card in both hotels Harrah's and Ceasers.

The theater at the LVH, (was the Hilton), has been a great time. Plenty of seating, no smoking in the theater, cheap beer and food available in the theater or in the sportsbook, satellite windows near the theater. Worth a trip for one of the days.

#20 Posted: 2/14/2012 9:52:14 PM BigChris and Heinz,
Thanks for the tips.
How early to get to each of those books? I would assume the Hilton would have lots of room and I could get there a lot later than Caesars.

Betting lines will be extremely long that morning. I got my bets in the
night before so I could just just sit and enjoy the games. Some people were lining up at 7:30 already to get in at the LVH, but seats could still be had at 9am. If you want a good seat (aisle, front row of 2nd section with more leg room), then you'll want to be there closer to 8. If it's just you by yourself, you could stroll in at 9 and you'd be fine.

#25 Posted: 2/19/2012 12:14:40 PM I will be in vegas for the 1st weekend of March Maddess.Staying at the Mirage with a few buddies.
Most likely will be at the Mirage sportsbook. How early should we get there each morning? Also does anyone know if any of the vegas sportsbooks have wireless... always nice to do some last minute research before placing bets.
Any tips in general would be helpful...
