Headed to Vegas August 1st.  Gonna hit the tables plenty, but am looking for other stuff to do.  Suggestions on shows, sites, etc will be appreciated.  This is only my 3rd trip so haven't ventured to far from the Strip as of yet.  Thanks in advance.

If you haven't been there yet, definitely hit up Fremont Street at least for a night.  It's basically one big outdoor party and there's plenty of shops that you can bob and weave through to get some action along the way (Binion's, Golden Nugget, Fremont, Four Queens, etc.).  In my first trip to Vegas, we ventured down there for one night half figuring it would just be OK and we'd come back to the strip after an hour or two, but we ended up staying there for hours on end and had a blast.

Any cirque de soleil show is worth the price of admission, if youre taking the wife or gf give "O" at the Bellagio a shot, my gf loved it. Its a water themed show and they do some incredible acrobatics from the ceiling into the water.

Check out the Red Rock area and casino if you have a car..Some nice peace and quiet up there and nice day trip.Bring water if you're walking around anywhere.
