Like the Lynx to come out with greater intensity/focus and take control of the game early. Lynx are still one bad ass team. Hoping for more Wiggins and less Whalen-think that adjustment could be a key to the series. W/o KD the Fever do have a scrappy bunch out there, though.
Lynx -4 1st half

WHALEN'S FAT ASS NEEDS TO RIDE THE PINE IN THIS SERIES. JANUARY IS NOT A GOOD MATCH-UP FOR HER. FUCK!
She's fine. As long as her team MOVES on offense. That double screen when she scored a deuce from the top of the box, left side, was a beauty. Super quick trigger.
In a series like this, a lot of steals will happen regardless of who handles the ball. Whalen handling it is much, much better for Minnesota than, say, Wiggins. Augustus is okay in the role, but can't do it all the time if we want her to shoot as she did in 3rd quarter.
Whalen will be fine.

You may be right on that one. Looks like they were just hung over from playing the Storm and Sparks. I'm expecting them to come out ready to play tomorrow.

Seattle defends almost as well as Indiana; LA is just not on the same level. My guess - my hope! - is that Indiana played the games of their lives in games 3 vs Atlanta and Connecticut, and game 1 at Minnesota. And it will be comparatively easy for the Lynx from here on.
They are the better team. But they need to forget it once the ball is tipped, and play with underdog's attitude. That's what got Indiana this far, and may still win them a championship.

I'm going with Cheryl Reeves blowing up woke them up and it should be smoother sailing from here on out. Seimone Augustus can shut Erin Phillips down completely when focused. I like Erin's tenacity but eventually genetics (Seimone is just a lot bigger) comes in to play. Also, watched a interview with Tamika the other day. Forgot about her weird speech thing-not the voice of a champion. KD is definitely not a champion at heart. The Fever are underdogs at heart while the Lynx are alpha dogs.

Did you see the three (first) halves of the 2012 Finals?
I nearly got a stomach ulcer cheering Atlanta on, since Minnesota looked mortal during those frames; and unstoppable during stretch runs.
Dunn and Catchings have been here, done that. Just like their opponents. The whole thing just doesn't look good for Indiana. But who knows, miracles do happen.

Well that is why the Lynx are deserved favs - their bench depth is unrivaled and it shows in the second half of games
