I'm a little hesitant pulling the trigger on gustaffson. I'm thinking Moussassi's stand up is comparable, but he lacks the length. what do you think? Ground game too, I like Gust slightly better, but not much. I think decision is a great call

Also really like pearson. Couture is on a nice upswing, but Pearson will school will be a class above

de fries is not good. i assume Meathead will be able to keep it standing and get a KO

i think gusta will out point gegard maybe even quite easily. gusta has some good foot work and what appears to be good cardio, which will allow him to keep up a pace for the 5 rounds that gegard may not be able to keep up with. gegard will move forward the whole fight but lacks TD ability, meaning the fight should play out as a kickboxing match.

gegard has an awsome guard, so if gusta takes gegard down don't expect it to stay there. gusta will want to pop back up and keep it standing.

 i like the dec. because i can't see gusta KO'ing gegard. gegard got an awesome chin and should be able to last the 5 rds taking all gusta has.

gusta just beat shogun. gegard and shogun are the same dudes with different faces.

I think Gustaf vs. Mousasi is a great fight.  Mousasi is more than comparable with his striking.  When he is on his game, he is a better striker.  

On the ground he is a much more accomplished submission fighter.  Lacks wrestling though.  

All depends what Mousasi shows up.  If motivated Mousasi shows up it will be a hell of a fight.  Both are tough to finish, but these are heavy hitting 205er....5 rounds is always a nail biter in fights like these.  Will be interested to see Mousasi's gas tank.

People also overrate Gustafs length.  He does use range well, and is 6'5.  But he is like a T-Rex.....6'5 and 76.5 inch reach.  Mousasi is listed at 6'2 with 76 inch reach.  

I hear people talk about how Gustaf may be the only guy to have the length to deal with Jones.  But as far as arms, he has a stubby reach.  Long legs I guess.

I think mma should measure leg length as well as wingspan. In addition, a fighters reach can be cut in half as its finger tip to finger tip. Somewhat misleading.

But Johnny, stats aside, all you have to do us look at gust next to an opponent and see he has " length"

All in all reach is not a HUGE factor. Look at Struve, he doesn't use it at all!

yeah they do but i need a physical sounding alarm app that will let me know that a line(s) have been posted. 

todays posting caught me off guard. i was fortunate enough to visit bestfight shortly after the opening. i was expecting the lines to be opened on monday or tuesday.

Is it too late for replacement? I saw Davis' name tossed around. While it could b a good card, there are NO names after after the main event

I'd like to see stats on headliner fights that have been scratched due to injury the past couple yrs

Real hush hush about gust's status. I'm not lovin my gust bet now for sure. Even if he fights with a cut, you have to think it gets reopened at some pt in 5 rounds. Might make him go for the ground quicker than usual
