This will be my biggest UFC wager of the entire year. Even bigger than the MASSIVE juice I laid on every GSP, Jon Jones and Anderson Silva fight over the last 2 yrs.

Rory -270. He is going to run through BJ.

I&#x27;m thinking the same thing. Rory is 200 lbs. BJ Penn is struggling to get up to 176 pounds. Different weight class altogether for two good fighters. This will be a natural middleweight fighting a natural lightweight. Pure aggression and power will be too much for BJ. I&#x27;m slamming the bajeebies out of this one.

I&#39;ve been puttin rory in parlays for a couple months too. I think if rory can handle condits striking (when he was pretty young) he should handle bj&#39;s too. If course he has a decent punchers chance. But lately whenever bj fights at 170, I wonder why. You&#39;re exactly right- they&#39;re two different weight classes.

I hate to go with the crowd but BJ is just a name these days and the game passed him by years ago. He has little to offer. Give him his due but he was never what the UFC built him up to be. Maybe in his day but this isn't his day. I'm sure he'll dish some out and try hard.

I love the underdog in cage matches but not this time.

[/Quote]UFC fans are ridiculous.  Last month it was "Fitch is washed up Silva Silva Silva" now it&#x27;s BJ.  Look, you don&#x27;t just "lose" world class jiu-jitsu skills.  Ever.  Do you get older and slower??  Yeah.  Will you lose your edge if you don&#x27;t practice everyday?  Yeah.  Will you become a bag of garbage from losing one fight or on championship?  No.  Keep in mind for a long long time BJ was considered unbeatable.  He&#x27;s lost his will to win and dominate which is probably the most important part of any fighter, but that doesn&#x27;t make him a pos.Do I think Rory wins?  Yeah.  Do I think he&#x27;s worth -300?  To be honest, not really and if this fight stays standing which I kinda expect it to, it will likely be a lot closer than it seems on paper.

If it stats standing, bj has the edge. Rorys standup was not great vs mills. And bj has good takedown d. But Tory should be the biggest strongest guy he&#39;s faced for a long time. Fight time weight differential should b 20 lbs. that&#39;s the biggest factor

i think part of the odds are that bjs last two fights were outright wars that probably took something out of him.

because if the bj that fought fitch still exists -300 seems expensive.

in that first round, bj absolutley dominated fitch.

Rory is going to take BJ down whenever he wants.  He is too big and too strong.  BJ will be competitive for a round.  He will get worn down.

As far as striking going, I'm thinking that zahabi would be working on rory's jab to get in and out quick. It worked recently with makdessi as well as gsp when he wasn't supposed to be able to hang on the feet with kos

I played BJ ITD at &#x2B;583, I actually think he has a fair chance at catching him in the first round, after that I don&#x27;t think he&#x27;ll be able to keep Rory off of him.  BJ looks like he&#x27;s in good shape, but Rory&#x27;s a beast and his conditioning has been solid since the Condit fight.
