I am going to re-watch the event now, and will be back later for some final comments.
All I am going to say is that something really has to give regarding the MMA judging. Both Uno and Ortiz were absolutely hosed by the judges on Saturday...
I will be back later...

I am back from Vegas, and all I can say is "OUCH"

I have no idea what my record is, but it is probably pretty good and I would Imagine that I would have to be up a several hundred this year. I went 5-5 on 2 strikeforce cards plus hit Two 5 Fight Parlays in those same cards.
Hopefully we can just keep feeding off of each other and all be winners.

Still up, that is all that matters.

Despite having one of my worst MMA handicapping efforts ever, the card was a lot of fun to be at. I was a little afraid of what to expect as the final card on paper did not look great, but all of the fights were entertaining.
George S. looked very impressive. The reason I had liked Dent was because I thought Dent would have a clear advantage on his feet, which he did. Unfortunately, I thought he would do a better job with the takedown defence, which obviously did not happen.
I was on Camones and feel fortunate about getting the draw. Camoes dictated the first round and had Uno rocked a few times with strikes. However, everytime he had Uno rocked, he attempted a takedown, and Uno would reverse the advantage. I am not really sure why the ref took a point away from Camoes in the 2nd round. I think it was for a head blow while Uno was down. It looked like he was in Camoes' guard when it happened. Very strange. I thought Camoes won the first round, with Uno taking rounds 2 (plus the point deduction on Camoes) and round 3. Are whole section was shocked when 2 of the 3 judges scored it 28-28. I guess they scored Camoes striking higher than Uno ground game.

The Larson - Foster fight was also very strange. Larson had two points deducted in the first round, one for kicking/kneeing Foster when he was down. The second appeared to be for a knee to the back of Foster's head. From where I was, it looked like Foster was getting up when the 2nd blow occurred. I guess he still had a knee on the ground. It looked like the point deductions really put Larson off of his game. Foster's striking was very impressive, and was able to rock Larson and put him away in the 2nd round.
The rest of the fights were on Spike or aired on the PPV, so I won't spend too much time on them.
I was on Grove because Rosholt has shown weak submission defence in the past. I was a bit worried as it looked like Rosholt was going to be able to control the fight with his wrestling. Luckily, he made a mistake and Grove was able to capitalize!
Saunders' clinch game was really impressive! Davis definitely did his best to keep Saunders on the outside with the leg kicks, but Saunders was really able to close the distance at will.
Don't get me started on that stiff Baroni. I really think Sadollah is overrated, and thought Baroni could KO him. Baroni did land a couple of bombs in the first few minutes, but by minute 3, he had completetly gassed out! Unbelievable!!!
I liked Lil Nog because he is the better all around fighter. I know Nog is know for his boxing, but I actually thought Nog would try to take this fight to the ground. I was pleasantly surprised that he kept the fight standing and beat Cane at his own game.

I had only released three 10 unit plays going into UFC 106. Anthony Johnston fit into my system for 10 unit plays #4. I really though that he would be able to block any takedown attempts by Koscheck, which he basically did until he unexplainably kneed Koscheck while he was down. Then Koscheck faked the eye injury, which seemed to completly rattle Johnson. AJ was never the same after that point in the fight. Koscheck took over, and the rest was history. I don't regret the play, but it was a tough one to swallow.
Finally, I thought Tito would GnP the sh*t out of Griffin. Did not happen. I just re-watched the fight. I think the first round was a lot closer than I thought it was while watching it live. The second round was also closer than I thought, but I still would have scored it 10-9 for Ortiz. I still don't understand the 30-27 score!
I am really sorry for anyone who tailed me on this card. I had been on a nice roll prior to this one, so hopefully I will rediscover my magic for fight night on December 5th!

Thanks for the kind words Crow! Yes, I am still up for the year, and that is all that matters. And you are right, we are lucky to have a number of really strong regulars in this form, who really know their MMA stuff! I am happy you are up for the year as well, I am quite confident that most of the forum regulars (and hopefully the newbies too) are up as well! Congrats to all of us for that!!!
