Agreed, andersons division was weak when it was pretty much just Franklin (who is overated)... GSP has fought in the toughest division and dominated. W/O a doubt the best Pound for Pound fighter with Fedor 2nd.

dont hate...... machida is the best in the world.... its too bad he will probably never fight anderson seeing as they train together, but anderson and gsp could happen and that would settle this discussion......... gsp is fantastic, but anderson would not get taken down which is why he would beat gsp..... what makes gsp so great are the takedowns, and whoever said alves had great takedown defense is inaccurate he is strong as shit and he can get back up because of that but he still gets taken down frequently

but anderson and gsp could happen and that would settle this discussion.........
No it would not, its pound for pound... GSP said it best in his postfight interview, he said he is not even a huge welterweight and that he would be very small compared to silva. He also said he walks around at 185 and cuts to make weight for 170 so if he fights at middleweight, he will be at least 20-25 pounds lighter than Silva. i heard before somewhere that Silva when he is not training for a fight walks around at like 210-220 at times.
If they were to fight, i would prefer them meeting at a catchweight at like maybe 178.
