Yup, I don&#x27;t see Machida losing any time soon either.  I think he can actually KO Shogun ... so hopefully something like Machida ITD has a little better odds. IMO, the biggest threat to Machida is probably Jon Jones in 2-3 years. But there are a lot of questions that Jones needs to answer, starting with his match against O&#x27;Brien.

As dominant as Machida is, I think Shogun deserves more credit than he gets here. He was as dominant in Pride a few years ago as Machida is in the UFC now, and he's shown signs of returning to that form recently. I will definitely be on Shogun for pure value here. Let's not forget, he's never been knocked out.

I agree Machida wins this, but I think the lines are way off. IMO Machida should be no more than -250. I know Shogun has not looked overly dominant in his UFC fights, but it&#x27;s not like he is some pushover either.

I got nothing but love and respect for my boy Lyoto, but that kind of line is just flat out ridiculous! This is MMA where one punch, kick, slip or even cut could change the outcome of any fight. No fighter is that much greater than another to warrant a line of -475, especially when dealing with a top level guy live Shogun. I mean the dude was p4p #1 in the world only 2 years ago and looked more or less back to his old form against Lidell. That being said, I would never bet against my hero, so I&#x27;m not making any plays on this fight. However, I would strongly recommend to anyone with any common sense to at least make a small play on Shogun, the odds just warrant a bet.
